Not only for the University of Social Sciences and Humanities but perhaps for the whole country, this is the first time that a separate magazine named Social Sciences and Humanities has been authorized to be published and introduced to readers. Hopefully, this publication will be a close, honest and trustworthy friend, always accompanying readers and those interested in social sciences and humanities of Vietnam and the world.

Dear Readers,

As the voice of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the center for research, creation and transmission of the quintessence of knowledge in the fields of social sciences and humanities in Vietnam, the Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities will first of all be a place to gather and publish products.elite knowledgein this field not only of the school staff but also of leading scholars and researchers of Vietnam and the world.

In order to meet the orientation and requirements of becoming an advanced research university according to international standards, the Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities focuses on publishing articles according to the orientation ofopen-minded, quickly rise to approach and be on par with the most prestigious magazines in the region and the world.

At the same time, the Journal also aspires to become a place for cultivating knowledge, proposing and exchanging ideas, cultivating the spirit, forging academic qualities and creating momentum for creativity. There, the academic spirit must be the core and soul of a research/elite university.

To fulfill his noble mission,Journal of Social Sciences and HumanitiesWe welcome submissions from lecturers, scientists, policy makers and experts, theorists and practitioners, artists and business people both at home and abroad.

On the occasion of publishing the first issue of the Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities, please allow me, on behalf of the Journal's Board of Directors, to express my sincere thanks to the superior agencies, especially Hanoi National University, the Central Propaganda Department and the Ministry of Information and Communications, for their support and assistance in helping the Journal to be introduced to readers soon.
