- Students benefit from the advantages of the Hanoi National University "ecosystem," including facilities, learning resources, dormitories, opportunities for dual degrees and postgraduate studies in other fields within Hanoi National University; and especially numerous scholarships both domestically and internationally. History students can receive scholarships that fully cover tuition, accommodation, and monthly living expenses (total scholarship amount can reach up to 50 million VND/student/academic year). The History Department currently has two scholarship funds: the Le Van Huu Scholarship and the Dinh Xuan Lam Scholarship, awarded to students with outstanding achievements (total scholarship amount approximately 200 million VND/year).
- In addition, starting from the 2021-2022 academic year, with accreditation according to AUN-QA standards, History students are eligible for direct admission to Master's programs if they graduate from a regular undergraduate program with a GPA of "Good" or higher within 12 months (calculated from the date of application).

Furthermore, even those who don't pursue a career in History after completing their undergraduate studies will still have a significant advantage in terms of knowledge, thinking methods, and the ability to identify and solve problems in science and life, a quality not found in every field of study.".

Combined with a solid historical mindset and dynamism, they easily enter the job market in a variety of positions.
