Attending the training session were representatives of the Training Department - Dr. Dao Minh Quan (Deputy Head of Department and speaker) and many lecturers and staff from faculties/departments in the school.

Nowadays, online teaching is not only a temporary solution to adapt to the pandemic period, but has actually become an inevitable trend of the digital transformation era. Online teaching will help teachers and learners to carry out learning activities anywhere without being limited by geographical space, and at the same time help apply information technology achievements to diversify teaching, testing and evaluating learners.
According to the guidance document on online teaching for students, the combination of direct teaching in the classroom and online teaching will continue to be implemented in the 2022-2023 school year. However, it is necessary to ensure that the number of credits and credit duration of online courses does not exceed 30% of the credits of the training program. And from Semester I of the 2022-2023 school year, the school will deploy the unified use of the online teaching platform of Hanoi National University with the access address https: //lms.vnu.edu.vn/ instead of the address https: //ussh.vtvlive.vn/ that lecturers are currently using.
To ensure the successful implementation of the new platform, the school will organize training on the use of the online teaching platform for all lecturers in 3 phases, conducted in July 2022. The training content will focus on 3 main content areas: Building teaching scenarios; Instructions on using the VNU LMS platform for online teaching; Online teaching methods.
In the final training session, Dr. Dao Minh Quan shared a lot of specific content on how to use the LMS online platform effectively, build the most suitable electronic lesson plans, participate in building and using electronic learning materials, design question banks for testing, evaluate student learning outcomes, monitor and support learners in a timely manner. During the training session, many concerns were also raised and discussed enthusiastically by the lecturers.
The unified and synchronous implementation of the new platform throughout the school will have some difficulties and situations that arise. The school will always accompany and provide maximum support in terms of facilities (internet system, wifi, ...), incentive policies, regular training activities ... so that lecturers can most effectively use the new application platform in online teaching.
