The University of Social Sciences and Humanities is one of Vietnam's leading universities in training and research in the field of social sciences and humanities. Therefore, this collaboration will contribute to expanding and improving the foreign language skills of lecturers and students, as well as opening up opportunities for scientific research, organizing international conferences, and introducing study abroad opportunities to students at the university.

According to Ms. Huong, "The cooperation program helps students and faculty at the school not only access the latest information about the UK education system but also brings many benefits to students, such as additional experiences from courses and preferential fees if they register to take the IELTS exam at the school organized by the British Council."

In addition, regular English proficiency tests and assessments of faculty and students, based on international standards, will be conducted to objectively evaluate participants' abilities. This new collaboration will partly help English lecturers improve their language skills and innovate their teaching methods to help students achieve the international certifications that society needs.

Through this cooperation agreement, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the British Council have established a partnership to facilitate access for faculty and students to up-to-date information, learning resources, and opportunities to exchange teaching methods, as well as to provide special incentives when registering for the IELTS exam at the university.

In particular, registration for exam preparation courses will receive a discount of up to 20% on all packages, depending on individual needs and abilities, from IELTS 0 to IELTS 7.5.

It has been announced that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will collaborate with the British Council to organize the first official IELTS exam on September 10, 2022, at the university's headquarters located at 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi. Registration is open until August 23rd. The university plans to hold the exam regularly once a month in the future to provide candidates with more opportunities to test their abilities on their journey to conquering the IELTS.
