Earlier that day, the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Vietnam, Denny Abdi, visited and held a working meeting with the leaders of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH). During the meeting with the Ambassador, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, the Rector of the University, expressed his honor that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi has received much attention and support from the Indonesian Embassy in Vietnam and Ambassador Denny Abdi personally over the past period.
Accordingly, the Indonesian Embassy has actively coordinated with the university in activities supporting students and faculty, such as connecting VNU-USSH with several universities in Indonesia for cooperation, and providing information on scholarship funds for students to study in Indonesia. This is a meaningful activity that helps to further strengthen the long-term cooperative relationship between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi in training and research on the culture, country, and people of Indonesia, contributing to strengthening the relationship between the two countries.
Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, the Rector of the university, expressed his honor that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, has received much attention and support from the Indonesian Embassy in Vietnam over the past period.
Highly appreciating the achievements of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the Ambassador expressed his desire to continue supporting the university in its training programs. Accordingly, the Indonesian Embassy has acted as a bridge, connecting several universities to send lecturers to teach at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. This activity makes a practical contribution to the learning of Oriental Studies students by providing them with access to the Indonesian language.
Following that, Ambassador Denny Abdi gave a talk to VNU-USSH faculty and students on the topic of Indonesia's role in ASEAN and the future of Vietnam-Indonesia relations.
Within the framework of Indonesian Culture Day held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the Embassy, in collaboration with the Faculty of Oriental Studies, organized an exhibition showcasing some distinctive images of Indonesian culture, bringing the unique flavors of Indonesian cuisine to VNU-USSH staff, lecturers, and students. The openness and friendliness of Indonesian culture, country, and people brought warm and sincere feelings to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
