Within the framework of the Vietnam-China Forum on Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation held at Tsinghua University, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector - and the delegation from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities participated in many activities aimed at enhancing understanding and substantive cooperation with leading Chinese universities.

On April 8, 2026, Mr. Olivier Brochet, Ambassador of the Republic of France to Vietnam, visited the University of Social Sciences and Humanities as part of a series of activities promoting scientific and educational cooperation between Vietnam and France in the new context. During the visit, the Ambassador, on behalf of the French Government, awarded the Order of the Academic Palms to Professor Hoang Anh Tuan (Rector) and Associate Professor Nguyen Tuan Cuong (Senior Researcher). On the afternoon of January 7, 2026, with the approval of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a conference to implement the personnel process for the reappointment of Professor Hoang Anh Tuan as Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

During the meeting on June 8, 2025, the two sides discussed numerous opportunities for cooperation in training and research in the field of archival studies.

To practically commemorate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth and to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the national scientific conference "Uncle Ho with Education, Education with Uncle Ho" was held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi on May 12, 2025, in coordination with the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The Editorial Board respectfully presents the keynote address by Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, and Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department - at the conference.

On May 12th, the national scientific conference "President Ho Chi Minh and Education, Education and President Ho Chi Minh" was held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Nguyen Trong Nghia and Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son attended and chaired the conference.
