Completing her bachelor's degree program in just three years and graduating with distinction, Nguyen Duong Phuong Anh – a K68 student majoring in Literature – has made her mark with a diligent academic journey at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi. Behind this achievement lies a strong academic foundation built at the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities, a persistent passion for literature, and a continuous commitment to improving her foreign language skills to broaden her learning and research opportunities.

On June 26, 2026, at the ULIS Cultural Center – Jonathan KS. Choi (144 Xuan Thuy Street, Cau Giay District, Hanoi), Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Fudan University (China) will organize the Vietnam-China National Governance and Economic Development Forum 2026. The forum will create a space for academic dialogue, experience sharing, and collaborative networking between managers, experts, scientists, and businesses from both countries.

On June 27th, the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Assessment Exam, based on the Vietnamese language proficiency framework for foreigners, was organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

As part of a working visit to Nanning Normal University, Guangxi, China, the Faculty of Philosophy and Management, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, collaborated with the Institute of Marxism, Nanning Normal University, to organize an international scientific conference on the theme "Education on Marxist Theory between China and Vietnam" on June 28-29, 2026.

This morning, June 28, 2026, the grounds of the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities were filled with the joyful atmosphere of the enrollment day for new 10th-grade students, cohort K7, academic year 2026-2029.

On June 26, 2026, at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities Hall, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, a solemn graduation ceremony for masters and doctoral graduates was held. In a warm, emotional, and proud atmosphere, 109 new masters and doctoral graduates officially received their diplomas – the result of a long and arduous journey of study, research, and overcoming many challenges.

On the morning of June 25, 2026, the Faculty of Linguistics and Vietnamese Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, was honored to welcome a delegation of students from Brown University (USA), led by Ms. Tran Diem Trang, along with Ms. Ngo Adalyn Tam An, Mr. Tran Christopher Hargraves, and 14 students, for a visit and academic exchange at the Faculty.

This was one of the points agreed upon at the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Vinpearl Joint Stock Company on June 26, 2026.

On June 25, 2026, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized a training course to enhance capacity building in quality assurance for higher education institutions, aiming to disseminate and guide on the process and approach to the set of standards for evaluating the quality of educational institutions according to the newly issued Circular 20/2026/Ministry of Education and Training.

The year 2026 marks a significant milestone in the development of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, with the official establishment of the Faculty of Politics and International Studies through the merger of the Faculty of Political Science and the Faculty of International Studies. This is not only an organizational event but also a new step forward, building upon the academic foundations that have been developed and nurtured over more than three decades.
