The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, announces to its partners, faculty members, students, researchers, and pupils the project to renovate facilities at its campus located at 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi.
For every USSH student, the image of the tree-lined path leading to the campus, covered in golden leaves like in Levitan's painting "Golden Autumn," or the C building with its lush green bougainvillea trellis, bursting with vibrant blossoms every summer, is an indelible part of their memories of Hanoi University of Humanities.
However, over the long years, and with the wear and tear of sun, rain, storms, and wind, the paint has faded, the plaster has peeled off, and it needs to be replaced with a new coat of paint that suits the image of a Hanoi University of Social Sciences and Humanities that is changing every day and integrating internationally. In order to create a green, spacious, modern, and friendly space that best serves the needs of commuting, studying, and researching for staff, lecturers, and students, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will undertake the Project: Renovation of the exterior of Building C and the main road infrastructure.
Expected implementation period: From October 2024 to February 2025
Main work items:
+ Renovate the exterior of House C;
+ Renovate the school gate;
+ Improve the infrastructure of the main road from the school gate to the courtyard of Building E.
During the project implementation, although the construction unit has made every effort to be as careful as possible, it is inevitable that there will be some inconveniences affecting the daily commuting, teaching, learning, and working activities of staff, lecturers, and students.
The School Board respectfully requests the cooperation and support from our esteemed partners, faculty members, postgraduate students, trainees, and current students to ensure the project is implemented smoothly, on schedule, and with the highest quality.
The successful implementation of this project will contribute to creating a traditional yet modern, dynamic, youthful, and fresh image of Hanoi's humanities. This is also one of the projects celebrating the important events of the 80th anniversary of the Faculty of Literature and the 30th anniversary of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, which will take place in 2025.
The school respectfully informs our partners, faculty, and students to be aware of and exercise caution when traveling through the construction area to ensure the safety and security of property and health.
