Student scientific research seminar with the theme "Presentation of scientific research proposals" of the Faculty of Tourism Studies.
Equipping individuals with knowledge and research methods closely linked to practical applications in their specialized field.
Based on the general orientation of shifting students' habits towards proactive research, the Faculties and Institutes throughout the university have flexibly implemented training content closely aligned with the practical realities of their respective fields.
One of the main focuses of this series of activities is to help students approach the scientific research process in a systematic way, from idea generation and topic selection to outline development and report completion. The guidance content is tailored to the specifics of each major, helping learners master the methodology and then apply it to specific topics.

Seminar on Research Guidance for the Department of Linguistics and Vietnamese Studies
Experienced speakers in teaching and research shared valuable knowledge and expertise in selecting research topics, developing research methods, and presenting scientific results. At the Faculty of Literature, the focus was on research in literary theory, foreign literature, comparative studies, and art studies, while also introducing basic research techniques in the field of Sino-Vietnamese studies. In addition, other training units such as the Faculty of Tourism Studies, the Faculty of Information Management, and the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training... guided students from the idea generation and outline development stages to the presentation and evaluation of their research projects, while also answering questions and discussing feasible research directions relevant to their specializations.

MSc. Dao Quang Trung shared useful insights in his research.
Dr. Vu Huong Lan - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Tourism Studies - also emphasized the role of scientific research in fostering critical thinking, self-learning abilities, and knowledge discovery in students. She shared the message: "Keep burning with passion for research, and you will reap the sweet rewards," encouraging students to proactively pursue their passions and persevere on their academic journey.

Dr. Vu Huong Lan emphasized the role of scientific research activities.
In particular, the Faculty of Philosophy and Management organized a talk show for freshmen of the K71 Philosophy program to provide them with an opportunity to exchange ideas with lecturers about study methods, research orientation, and how to develop research topics. The program also encouraged academic spirit through the awarding of books to students with excellent academic and research achievements.

The live discussion sessions created an open academic space for learners to actively ask questions about the elements that make a research project successful, how to pursue interdisciplinary topics, and how to enhance its practical application.

Disseminating research experience across generations of learners.
In addition to equipping students with knowledge and research methods, the training activities also focus on connecting students with speakers, alumni, and experienced individuals in the field of scientific research. Through real-life stories and experiences gained from the research process, learners have the opportunity to better understand the requirements of academic research, from selecting appropriate problems and developing approaches to handling difficulties arising during implementation. In particular, direct exchanges provide opportunities for students to ask questions, discuss, and seek solutions to their own problems, thereby approaching research activities in a more proactive and practical way.

Student Tran Tan Khai (K66 Han Nom Studies) won first prize at the Faculty level in the 2023-2024 academic year and shared his research experience.
The experiences shared by previous generations contribute to motivating students to boldly pursue their ideas, fostering curiosity and a spirit of knowledge discovery. Through interaction and learning, students gain a foundation to define research directions that suit their abilities and interests, while also becoming more aware of the role of perseverance, proactiveness, and a thirst for knowledge in their academic journey. This is also a way to continue and spread the passion for research among generations of students, contributing to building a connected and creative learning environment at the Faculty of Humanities.

MSc. PhD Candidate Nguyen Huy Hoang and Ms. Nguyen Kim Nhung - a student in the Master's program in Clinical Psychology - shared useful insights.

The Department of Anthropology and Religious Studies awarded certificates of merit to students who achieved outstanding research results in the past year.
Through training activities, training units are gradually strengthening their academic foundations, encouraging students to actively participate in research and develop scientific ideas right from the classroom. In the future, student support programs will continue to be implemented with diverse content and forms, suitable to the specific characteristics of each training field, aiming to promote the development of scientific research and improve the quality of research projects throughout the University.
