Monday, May 30th - 8:30 AM: The Board of Directors will meet with representatives from various departments to summarize the 2010-2011 school year and discuss plans and tasks for the 2011-2012 school year (Room 506, Building E). The Administration Department will prepare. - 2:00 PM: The Rector attends the joint meeting of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of VNU (Room 203, Administration Building, VNU). The Chairman of the Trade Union is invited to attend. - 2:00 PM: Vice Rector NV Kim attends the meeting of the Basic Science Council to review and approve the book "History of the Vietnam Women's Union, Volume 1: 1930-1976" (Room 701, Building E). The Research Management Department will prepare. - 2:00 PM: Vice Rector NK Son works with Dr. Nghiem Thuy Hang on a scientific research topic (Room 503, Building E).
Tuesday, May 31st - 8:30 AM: Vice Rector NK Son attends the Conference on Curriculum Development (Room 203, Administration Building, VNU Hanoi). Representatives from the Postgraduate Training Department and the Training Department are invited to attend. - 9:30 AM: Vice Rector NV Kim receives representatives from Yunnan Normal University, China (Room 506, Building E). Representatives from the Faculty of Linguistics are invited to attend. The International Cooperation and International Relations Department will prepare. - 2:00 PM: Associate Professor NK Son will defend his graduation thesis at the Faculty of Literature. - 2:00 PM: Associate Professor NV Kim will attend the Organizing Committee meeting for the Conference "Between Classicism and Modernity: Southeast Asia from the late 14th to the late 17th Century" (Room 501, Building E). The Research Management Department will prepare.
Wednesday, June 1st - 7:30 AM: Vice Rector V.D. Nghieu attends the defense of his graduation thesis at the Faculty of Linguistics. - 8:30 AM: The Rector meets with the leadership of the Faculty of Sociology regarding the organization of the 20th anniversary celebration of the faculty (Room 501, Building E). The Personnel Department will prepare. - 10:00 AM: The Rector receives representatives from Humboldt University, Federal Republic of Germany (Room 505, Building E). Representatives from the Faculty of International Studies are invited to attend. The International Cooperation and Training Department will prepare. - 10:00 AM: Vice Rector NK Son reviews the plan for organizing the Party Branch Congress of the Faculty of Sociology (Room 501, Building E). The Party Committee Office will prepare. - 2:00 PM: Vice Rector NK Son will hold a meeting to review the graduation exam eligibility for the part-time Information and Library Science program at the university (Room 501, Building E). The Training Department will prepare. - 2:30 PM: Vice Rector V.D. Nghieu will attend a meeting on the declaration of information for staff, students, and units (Room 203, Administration Building, VNU Hanoi). Representatives from the Personnel and Organization Department and the Student Affairs Department are invited to attend. - 2:30 PM: Vice Rector NK Son will hold a meeting to review the graduation exam eligibility for the part-time Sociology program in Vinh Phuc (Room 501, Building E). The Training Department will prepare. - 3:30 PM: Vice Rector NK Son will approve the plan for organizing the Party Branch Congress of the Psychology Faculty (Room 501, Building E). Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Quyet is invited to attend. The Party Committee Office will prepare.
Thursday, June 2nd - 8:00 AM: School-wide meeting (Room 506, Building E). The Administration and Management Department will prepare. - 8:30 AM: Conference to disseminate the Resolution of the 11th National Party Congress (Auditorium on the 8th floor of Building E). All staff and faculty are invited to attend (except for Party members who attended the Dissemination Conference on May 27th). - 2:00 PM: The Rector meets with the leaders of the Faculty of Literature and the Faculty of Linguistics regarding the organization of the 55th anniversary celebration (Room 506, Building E). The Personnel Department will prepare. - 2:00 PM: Vice Rector NV Kim attends the Standing Committee meeting of the Postgraduate Admissions Council (Room 701, Building E). The Secretariat will prepare. - 2:00 PM: Vice Rector NK Son holds a meeting on post-graduation employment surveys and program evaluation (Room 501, Building E). Representatives from the Faculty of Sociology, the Student Affairs Department, the Center for Educational Quality Assurance, the Youth Union, and the Student Association are invited to attend. The Training Department will prepare. - 4:00 PM: Vice Rector NK Son holds a meeting to review the graduation exam eligibility for the part-time Journalism and Communication program at the university (Room 501, Building E). The Training Department will prepare.
Friday, June 3rd - 8:00 AM: Vice Rector NK Son attends a scientific conference (No. 1 Lieu Giai). - 8:30 AM: Vice Rector V.D. Nghieu meets with the Information Technology Team (Room 501, Building E). MSc. Dao Minh Quan prepares. - 2:00 PM: Vice Rector NV Kim holds a meeting of the Postgraduate Admissions Council (Room 701, Building E). The Secretariat will prepare. - 2:00 PM: Vice Rector NK Son receives representatives from the National University of Singapore and the Harvard-Yenching Institute, USA (Room 506, Building E). Representatives from relevant departments and faculty members interested in the Harvard-Yenching scholarship program are invited to attend. The International Cooperation and Training Department will prepare. - 4:00 PM: Vice Rector NK Son holds a meeting to review translated documents (Office of the Faculty of Oriental Studies). The Training Department will prepare.
Saturday, June 4th - 8:00 AM: Vice Rector NK Son attends a presentation by Professor Ho Tai Hue Tam (Room 701, Building E). The International Cooperation and Training Department will prepare.
