The University of Social Sciences and Humanities announces training for students who have passed the supplementary admission exam in 2012. Students who have registered for supplementary admission exam and have been recognized as being admitted are eligible to register for high-quality training programs (except students who have passed the A block entrance exam for Philosophy major, who must achieve 17 points or more). On September 12, 2012, the University organized the first entrance exam for the high-quality training program in Management Science and Literature. After September 14, 2012, the enrollment quota for the second round of Management Science and Literature majors (in the announcement below) will be updated on this website. Reference:
I. Enrollment in high quality training programs 1. Target: 100: Literature - 25, History - 25, Philosophy - 20 and Management Science - 30.2. Student rights:In addition to the general rights of students in the regular training system, students of high-quality bachelor training programs also enjoy the following rights: - Being directly taught and guided in scientific research by leading scientists, professors, and lecturers with high qualifications and professional prestige. - Being able to participate in 01 free extracurricular course/semester during the course to improve lifelong learning capacity, job-seeking capacity and personal development. - Being given priority to be granted an electronic library account of VNU, priority to use learning materials, facilities, technical equipment, libraries, and internet systems for studying and scientific research. - Being given priority to be arranged accommodation in dormitories from the second academic year; being given annual cards to buy textbooks and reference materials for free at publishers and bookstores as prescribed by the School. - Receive study encouragement scholarships (expected type A: 560,000 VND/month, type B: 520,000 VND/month, type C: 480,000 VND/month) and scholarships sponsored by domestic and foreign organizations and individuals. - Receive priority in selection to study abroad according to the State's quota or according to international cooperation programs in accordance with the high-quality undergraduate training goals of VNU and the School. - Upon graduation, receive priority in consideration for transfer to graduate school and doctoral studies or selection to become lecturers and researchers of VNU.3. Selection objectsStudents admitted to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in 2012 (direct admission, entrance exam, regardless of major), meet the requirements for foreign language proficiency test and essay writing, and satisfy one of the following conditions: a. Won third prize or higher in the national excellent student competition for grade 12 (2011, 2012) b. Was an excellent student for 3 consecutive years in high school (grade 10, 11, 12) c. Graduated from specialized high school of universities or provinces, centrally-run cities d. University entrance exam scores (including regional and subject priority points): Management Science (group A: from 17 points, group C: from 21.5 points, group D: from 17.5 points), History (group C: from 18 points, group D: from 17 points), Literature (group C: from 18.5 points, group D: from 17 points), Philosophy (group A: from 17 points, group C: from 18 points, group D: from 17 points).3.2. Selection method: 3.2.1. Direct admission: Subjects listed in section I.3.1.a 3.2.2 Admission review: Remaining subjects listed in section I.3.1II. Admission to French class specializing in Clinical Psychology 1. Target: 20 2. Student rights- Studying in the Psychology training program with an additional 440 hours of French language study and studying some specialized subjects in French. - Priority in using documents, learning tools, and the internet of the French-language postgraduate training program. - Priority in considering scholarships to encourage learning (expected type A: 560,000 VND/month, type B: 520,000 VND/month, type C: 480,000 VND/month) and scholarships sponsored by domestic and foreign organizations and individuals. - Priority as a source of enrollment for postgraduate training joint programs between universities of the French Republic and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities; as a source of selection for postgraduate study abroad with state scholarships or international cooperation programs of the school.3. Selection objectsStudents who were admitted to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in 2012 (direct admission or entrance exam, regardless of major), passed the foreign language proficiency test and had university entrance exam scores (including regional and subject priority points): Block A from 18 points, Block B from 19.5 points, Block C from 20 points, Block D from 18.5 points, are eligible to apply for admission.3.2. Selection methodAdmission based on university entrance exam scores among students who meet foreign language proficiency requirements, with priority given to students who have studied French in high school.III. Note: The "Start of Study" schedule only applies to advanced subjects of the CLC training program. For other subjects, students will study normally according to the existing schedule.IV. Application for admission- Receive the application form and submit the application form at room 604, building E, University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Exam and admission fee: 150,000 VND/studentV. Note to students- The exam list will be posted at the Information Room, 1st floor, Building G from 1:30 p.m., September 26, 2012. The admission results will be announced at 4:00 p.m., Friday, September 28, 2012. - If admitted, students cannot change their wishes; if not admitted, they will continue studying the major they have enrolled in.VI. Regulations on essay and English exams 1. Essay writing testThe essay is written in 60 minutes, with no word/page limit. The exam questions are related to the major the student is applying for.2. English test- The English test lasts 60 minutes. - The test consists of 3 parts + Part I (Grammar and Vocabulary) has 10 questions in the form of choosing the correct answer. The given text is incomplete sentences and suggested answers A, B, C, D + Part II (Reading) has 2 passages: a) The given text is a passage of about 120 to 150 words, with 5 questions or 5 incomplete sentences with 4 answers A, B, C, D based on the content of the reading. Students answer in the form of choosing the correct answer. b) The given text is a passage of about 100 words with 10 blanks. There are 10 questions and students must answer in the form of filling in the blanks with words/word fragments. + Part III (Writing) has 2 requirements: a) The given text is suggested words. There are 5 questions and students must write 5 complete sentences. b) Given a topic with some suggestions, students write a paragraph of about 80 - 100 words.
1. Using exam results: The exam results are classified according to levels A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2. Students who achieve a certain level are exempted from studying, receive the maximum score for the corresponding subject and subjects at lower levels. For example: Students who achieve level B1 will be recognized with an A+ score for English A1, English A2, English B1 with a total duration of 14 credits. Students are exempted from tuition fees for these subjects.2. Exam time: September 23, 2012 (7:00 am: Listening, Vocabulary-Grammar, Reading, Writing; 1:00 pm Speaking.)3.
