After receiving the information about the adjusted admission threshold, many candidates and parents were overjoyed and came to enroll this morning, August 24, 2015. The enrollment process was brief and quick. The students' files were processed on the spot by school staff. In less than 10 minutes, they received their Student Acceptance Certificates and officially became students of the school.

Upon receiving the notification, many students couldn't hide their joy. To Thi Linh, from Vinh Bao district, Hai Phong, said: "I scored 88.5 points on the National Competency Assessment Exam and applied for the Tourism major at the university as my first choice, but I wasn't admitted. After the university adjusted the admission threshold, I now have enough points to get into the major and have hope of becoming a student there." Linh happily added: "At first, I was very sad because I didn't get in. Although I had enough points to get into the University of Commerce, I still regretted not being able to study the major I wanted. Yesterday, my friend called and said my name was on the supplementary admission list. I was so happy. That's why I came to enroll today."

Similarly, Chu Thi Thuong, from Nghe An province, was also 2 points short of getting into the Tourism program. But after the school adjusted the admission threshold, her name was included in the list of admitted students. Although she hasn't been able to enroll yet due to a lack of notarized documents, she is still very happy to soon become a student at the school. "I also want to pursue a second degree at the University of Foreign Languages ​​or the University of Education," Thuong excitedly said.

In addition, some candidates, despite having sufficient scores for admission to their chosen major after the adjustment, are not yet on the list. “After the school adjusted the admission threshold, I saw that I had enough points to get into the History department, and I was so happy because I’ve liked this school since middle school. But seeing that my name wasn’t on the list made me a little worried. This morning, my mother and I came to ask the teachers here. The teacher said that the list has been updated and my name will be on it by 6 PM this evening. I can come to enroll as usual tomorrow morning,” shared Nguyen Ngoc Han (from Hung Yen) with a smile.

The list of candidates admitted through the supplementary application process will be updated by the university at 6 PM this evening. Candidates who met the requirements but were not included in the list published on August 23rd will be added to this list. After their names are listed, candidates can register for admission at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Please remember to bring the necessary documents that the university has published on its website. The university will continue to accept applications until September 4th, 2015.

The school is expected to officially announce the second round of admissions no later than August 25, 2015, if there are still vacancies for each major.
