"Comprehensive Korean Textbook for Vietnamese Learners (Beginner Level)" is compiled for Vietnamese people who want to learn Korean at the beginner level. This book aims to improve the overall communication skills of Vietnamese Korean learners by refining basic expressions and structures, practicing application exercises with diverse activities, and understanding Korean culture necessary in communication situations. Accordingly, this book has been compiled for effective use in Vietnamese universities based on accumulated experience and fundamental principles of Korean language textbook compilation currently being researched in Korea and around the world, and through reference to the Korean language education program in Vietnam. Above all, this textbook is tailored to Vietnamese learners by effectively utilizing real-world data and accumulated experience gained from teaching Korean to Vietnamese students over the years, as well as accurately analyzing and reflecting the Korean language learning strategies of Vietnamese people. To assist those who are self-studying Korean outside of university, this textbook also provides detailed explanations and diverse exercises to help learners study independently.

The "Comprehensive Korean Textbook for Vietnamese Learners (Beginner Level)" thoroughly applies the latest textbook compilation methods and principles currently being researched in foreign language education. This is based on the fundamental principle of communicative competence as the core of the curriculum. Simultaneously, this textbook incorporates diverse methods to ensure effective learning for Vietnamese learners. The main principles used in this textbook are a comparative linguistic approach between Korean and Vietnamese, a learner-centered approach, a focus on practical application exercises and materials, increased flexibility in real-world use, and a systematic approach to education that integrates all four communication skills, as well as a holistic approach to language and culture. Furthermore, this textbook aims for ease of learning by systematically organizing vocabulary, grammatical structures, application exercises, and skills, categorized by topic and level; each level includes a test to help learners review what they have learned; and it comes with accompanying audio for listening practice. In addition, this textbook is designed for use in Korean language classes at universities, so each lesson is divided into several sections: a basic theory section including vocabulary and grammatical structures, a section for practicing communication skills in the four skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, a section for pronunciation practice, and a section for cultural exploration…; the topics, application exercises, and skills are all systematically arranged and closely related. Along with this textbook, a supplementary workbook is also included to help learners review more thoroughly and practice more advanced skills when needed.

"Korean Language Textbook for Vietnamese Learners (Beginner Level)" is structured with 30 lessons and an alphabet section. Volume 1 includes the alphabet and the first 15 lessons, while Volume 2 contains the remaining 15 lessons. The overall structure of the textbook is based on themes; each theme is consistently linked to a system of basic vocabulary and grammatical structures, application exercises, skills development, and cultural insights.

The textbook also includes a CD containing essential audio materials for studying the lessons, practicing skills, and improving pronunciation; there is also a workbook with application exercises to help learners review effectively.
