Report Summary

Program accreditation is a relatively new issue for higher education in Vietnam. This report attempts to clarify why program accreditation is necessary, and provides information on the current state of program accreditation in several countries around the world and in Vietnam. To implement program accreditation in Vietnam, the first step is to develop a set of accreditation standards. Drawing on the experiences of other countries, the report discusses several key issues regarding the content of program accreditation standards.
