University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

Religion is affirmed as one of the resources for national development, and religious affairs are also identified as a task of the political system. However, currently, the number of high-quality human resources with qualifications in Religious Studies is quite modest. This reality has prompted the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to develop a training program in Religious Studies to equip students with theoretical and practical knowledge of Religious Studies, as well as knowledge and skills in religious affairs, to meet societal needs.

In this new era, what will a Bachelor of Anthropology graduate from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, be equipped with to be ready to take on job positions that align with current trends?

This morning, June 17, 2025, the Faculty of Anthropology and Religious Studies (University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi) held a presentation of two new research works: "Social Networks and Ethnic Groups in Vietnam from an Anthropological Perspective" (edited by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Suu) and "Street Corners, Street Stalls, and Facebook" (authored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vuong Xuan Tinh).

The above action slogan was unanimously agreed upon at the Party Congress of the Faculty of Anthropology and Religious Studies for the 2025-2027 term, held on the afternoon of March 13, 2025.
