Congress of the Party Cell of the Faculty of Anthropology and Religious Studies: Perfecting and stabilizing the organization, innovation, creativity, international integration, high quality

The congress was attended by representatives of the School Party Committee, all Party members of the Party Cell, and representatives of mass organizations in the Faculty.
The Congress listened to and agreed with the Political Report submitted to the Congress of the Party Cell of the Faculty of Anthropology and Religious Studies after the merger for the 2022 - 2025 term.
Accordingly, the organization and staff work has achieved many important results, contributing to improving professional capacity, stabilizing the apparatus and creating sustainable development momentum for the Faculty. The Party Cell has led the organization and management of training in a professional and flexible direction, providing maximum support to learners.
Over 90% of lecturers preside over or participate in scientific projects at the State level (program KX03), Ministry level, Hanoi National University and grassroots level. The projects not only serve academic purposes but also make important contributions to policy advice for the Party and State.
The Faculty maintains a high number of scientific publications every year, with many works published in prestigious domestic and international journals. Strengthening applied research also helps lecturers provide scientific advice to agencies, organizations and localities, contributing to policy making. The Congress passed the Resolution of the Party Congress, identifying the general goal for the 2025-2027 term as perfecting the organization, including the Party organization and the Faculty's leadership. In the context of the merger between the Faculty of Anthropology and the Department of Religious Studies, the Party Cell leads and directs the construction and development of the Faculty into one of the leading centers for Anthropology and Religious Studies research in the country and the region. Upholding the spirit of responsibility and setting an example, comprehensively, directly and absolutely directing all areas of the Faculty's activities to innovate, improve the quality and reputation of the Faculty to meet the needs of the country and society with the slogan of action being "Perfecting, stabilizing the organization, innovating, creating, integrating internationally, high quality".
Identifying key targets and tasks in the new context of university autonomy and fierce competition in the education sector, the Party Cell emphasized strengthening solidarity within the Party Cell and the Faculty, creating unity and high consensus on the responsibility to continue developing the Faculty in all aspects to better meet the requirements of national construction and protection, regional and international integration, and continuing to link political and ideological work with professional work.
The Party Cell focuses on developing the teaching staff in both quantity and quality to continue to enhance the position, prestige and influence of the Faculty and its departments with 08 Associate Professors and 14 PhDs. Directing the continued promotion of scientific research, domestic and international cooperation, publication of high-quality scientific products; actively innovating and improving the quality of teaching, testing and evaluation in all training programs.
During the 2025 - 2027 term, the Faculty strives to develop the training scale from undergraduate to master's and doctoral levels; promote the compilation of textbooks, lectures and scientific publications. The Congress listened to the presentation of the Party Committee's review report; Report summarizing opinions on the draft documents submitted to the Congress and documents of the School Party Congress for the term 2025 - 2030. Delegates attending the Congress discussed and contributed many opinions to the political reports; voted by secret ballot and reached high consensus in electing delegates to the School Party Congress and passing the Congress Resolution.
Previously, on March 3, 2025, the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities awarded the Decision to appoint the establishment of the Party Cell of the Faculty of Anthropology and Religious Studies for the term 2025 - 2027 and the Decision to appoint comrade Nguyen Truong Giang to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Cell of the Faculty of Anthropology and Religious Studies for the term 2025 - 2027. Speaking at the congress, comrade Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities emphasized that in the new context, the Faculty needs to quickly complete the leadership personnel of the Faculty, the Department and the political organizations. Each individual and the entire Party Cell need to be unified, agree, share, and create an organizational culture on the foundation of the good culture of the two previous organizations.
In the new context of university autonomy and fierce competition in the field of education, the Party Cell of the Faculty of Anthropology and Religious Studies needs to have clear orientations and define specific goals and tasks to increase competitiveness and promote the resources of the Faculty and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The Faculty needs to adjust training programs to suit the needs of society, increase its advisory role and policy advice for Party and State agencies; and affirm its leading role in research and training in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities.
The representative of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities also expressed confidence that with solidarity and unanimity, the Party Cell of the Faculty of Anthropology and Religious Studies will achieve achievements in the new term.
