University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo affirmed the goal of developing science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation as breakthrough driving forces for the country. In this context, educational institutions, especially those in the social sciences and humanities, play a crucial role in fostering political acumen, cultivating research aspirations, and creating a new generation of intellectuals. Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Chieu, Head of the Department of Political Science, University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi), shared with reporters the orientations, solutions, and expectations on the journey of accompanying the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW.

On November 2-3, 2024, the 2024 Training Conference of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi (VNU-USSH) was held with the participation of representatives from the leadership of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the university's leadership, and leaders and specialists in charge of training at the training units and functional departments/centers of the university.

Within the framework of the 7th session of the Vietnam-Angola Intergovernmental Committee in Luanda (Republic of Angola), the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, signed a cooperation agreement with Agostinho Neto University to implement scientific and training activities in the coming period.
