University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

On the morning of September 5th, along with nearly 26 million students and almost 1.7 million teachers nationwide, the faculty and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, began the new academic year with a special opening ceremony.

Joining the nationwide atmosphere of welcoming the new academic year, on the morning of September 5th, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, held its opening ceremony for the new academic year; and broadcast live the opening ceremony and the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Education on VTV1 channel.

On the occasion of the opening of the 2025-2026 academic year, amidst the nationwide celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day on September 2nd, and the 80th anniversary of the Education sector's tradition, President Luong Cuong sent a letter to the entire Education sector. Many activities for new students of cohort K70 have been organized smoothly by the university, aiming to best support them in preparing for the new academic year.

To carry out the tasks for welcoming new students of cohort K70 and organizing the "Student Orientation Week," the University announces the schedule of initial coursework for students of cohort QH-2025-X to the Faculties/Institutes for implementation as follows:

Despite the heavy rain and flooding on many roads in Hanoi today, it did not deter the K70 freshmen and their families from completing their enrollment procedures at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi.
