University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

Based on Prime Minister's Directive No. 86/CĐ-TTg dated September 3, 2024, on urgently implementing measures to respond to Typhoon No. 3 (international name Yagi) and according to the forecast of the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, Typhoon No. 3 will continue to strengthen. This is a very strong typhoon, with a very high probability of directly affecting the Northern region and Hanoi City. To proactively respond to the typhoon and the rain caused by its influence, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU Hanoi) requests the Heads of member and affiliated units:

(Chinhphu.vn) On the morning of September 5th, Typhoon No. 3 (YAGI) intensified into a super typhoon, predicted to be very strong, posing a high risk of natural disaster, and having complex developments. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed a directive instructing ministries, agencies, and localities to focus on urgently responding to Typhoon No. 3 of 2024.

On April 14, 2023, at Hoa Lac, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited and worked with Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) and presented 5,000 trees to VNU students.
