The majors that recruit students from group A include: Psychology (501), Management Science (502), Sociology (503), Philosophy (504), Political Science (507), Information - Library Science (605), Archival Studies and Office Management (606), International Studies (608), Tourism Studies (609), and Anthropology (614).
Also in the 2010 entrance examination, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will officially recruit students for a new major:Vietnamese StudiesThis is a branch of science that studies Vietnam according to specific disciplines such as history, geography, language, literature, culture, economics, society, ecological environment, etc., or according to the interdisciplinary nature of regional studies.
Graduates of Vietnamese Studies programs are capable of conducting in-depth research and teaching in Vietnamese Studies; becoming tour guides; or working in diplomatic agencies, international organizations, representative offices, trade offices, and governmental and non-governmental organizations both domestically and internationally.
