The program is for postgraduate students (masters and doctoral) whose research topics are related to Sinology.
The terms of financial support for this scholarship program are as follows:
(1) Monthly allowance of NT$30,000 for graduate students and NT$50,000 for doctoral students.
(2) The grant period is from 3 to 6 months (from September 2022 to March 2023). Scholarship recipients must conduct research at NCCU.
(3) Scholarship to support one-way travel expenses for students from foreign universities (economy class airfare).
Registration documents must be sent to the Lo Chia-luen International Sinology Office via email before May 30, 2022. Registration documents include:
- Application form (download athttp://sinology.nccu.edu.tw/PageDownload?fid=6734).
- Research plan written in Chinese (maximum 2000 characters).
- Personal CV (including list of published scientific works).
- University's graduate/doctoral student confirmation and transcript.
- 02 letters of recommendation.
- Letter of approval from a mentor working at NCCU.
Scholarship recipients are required to:
- Have research contact with a mentor working at NCCU during the program.
- Participate in scientific activities organized by NCCU.
- Not receiving any scholarships from other units in Taiwan.
- Submit final work report after completing the program.
- Credit NCCU as the sponsor of the research project and allow NCCU to use the work for promotional purposes.
