This program is for postgraduate students (master's and doctoral) whose research topics are related to Sinology.
The terms and conditions regarding financial support for this scholarship program are as follows:
(1) Monthly allowance of NTD 30,000 for graduate students and NTD 50,000 for doctoral students.
(2) The scholarship period lasts from 3 to 6 months (from September 2022 to March 2023). Scholarship recipients must conduct research at NCCU.
(3) Scholarships cover one-way travel costs for students from foreign universities (economy class airfare).
Applications should be sent to the Lo Chia-luen International Sinology Office via email before May 30, 2022. The application includes:

- Research plan written in Chinese (maximum 2000 characters).
- Personal resume (including a list of published scientific works).
- Confirmation of graduate student/researcher status from the university and transcript.
- Two letters of recommendation.
- Letter of approval from a working advisor at NCCU.
Scholarship recipients are required to:
- I had a research relationship with a consultant working at NCCU during my participation in the program.
- Participate in scientific activities organized by NCCU.
- I will not accept any scholarships from other organizations in Taiwan.
- Submit a final work report after the program concludes.
- NCCU is credited as the funding body for the research and is permitted to use these works for promotional purposes.
