International Workshop "Preserving and Promoting Heritage Values ​​in the Context of Covid-19" {Registration deadline: 24:00 on March 18, 2022}

In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, a key concern in Vietnam is the current state of conservation and promotion of heritage values, and the attraction of tourism in the post-Covid-19 era.

With the participation of leading experts on tourism and culture from both Vietnam and Japan, the workshop will discuss and offer suggestions for specific future directions through the following three subcommittees:

  • Subcommittee 1: Heritage Preservation Issues in the Covid-19 Era: A Perspective from the Conservation and Restoration Project of the Japanese Bridge in Hoi An
  • Subcommittee 2: Regional Innovation Towards the Preservation and Promotion of Heritage Values.
  • Subcommittee 3: The current status of cultural heritage in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic.
