The "Humanity in Me" Contest

I. Purpose and Significance

Competition"Humanism within me"This is a meaningful, beneficial, and practical activity within the series of activities organized by the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, aimed at celebrating Youth Month 2014 and the 8th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the University.

The competition is an opportunity for every student and youth union member of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to express their feelings and pride for the school where they have studied and are currently studying, and also a chance to record memorable moments and unforgettable memories with the school, teachers, and friends.

Competition "Humanism in meThis will contribute to preserving documents about the vibrant activities of the school's youth; showcasing the spirit, identity, and noteworthy achievements that the units, clubs, teams, and groups within the school have organized or participated in under the initiative of the School Youth Union and the higher-level Youth Union.

II. Competition Format and Rules

1. Eligible contestants

- All student union branches and sub-branches under the Student Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

- Clubs, teams, and groups affiliated with the Youth Union and Student Association of the school.

- Students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

2. Forms of participation

Each unit will create photo albums, video clips, and collections of written reflections about the school on the given theme."Humanism within me"This includes video clips, images, and insightful, authentic, and vivid articles about the school, teachers, students, and meaningful activities related to academics, arts, sports, and volunteering.

Request:

- Video clip competition: Each unit will create a video clip on a given theme."Humanism within me", duration not exceeding15 minutes.

- Photo contest:

+ Number of photos: Maximum number of photos per entry20photos and at least4image

+ Minimum image quality required2 MB

Each photograph must have a title or caption explaining the idea, content, and meaning of the photograph, not exceeding...100letter

+ Submitted works must not be copied by any means or in any form.

- Essay writing section:

Each unit performs a minimum10This section encourages essays that reflect on the school, teachers, students, cultural, artistic, and volunteer activities. Creative forms of expression are also encouraged in the submitted entries.

3. Submit your entry

- Time: The organizing committee will begin collecting entries from March 18, 2014 to 4:00 PM on March 19, 2014.

- Submission method:

+ For video clips: print them onto discs and send them directly to the Student Union Office, Room 101, Building B.

+ For photos: do not print or develop them, send them via email.vpdoanhoinhanvan@gmail.com

III. Prize Structure

1. Video clip competition

- 1 overall first prize worth 1,000,000 VND

- 1 second prize worth 800,000 VND

- 1 first prize for Facebook's online voting, worth 500,000 VND.

2. Photo Contest

- 1 overall first prize worth 1,000,000 VND

- 1 second prize worth 800,000 VND

- 1 first prize for Facebook's online voting, worth 500,000 VND.

3. Essay writing section

- 1 overall first prize worth 1,000,000 VND

- 1 second prize worth 800,000 VND

- 1 first prize in the overall standings, worth 500,000 VND.

4. One prize for the group with the most high-quality entries: 1,000,000 VND

IV. Organizing the evaluation of submitted entries

- Preliminary round: The judging panel will evaluate video clips, photo albums, and written reflections about the school on the given theme."Humanism within me"Received from the Student Union branches, Clubs/Teams/Groups on March 20, 2014 (Thursday) at the Student Union Office (Room 101, Building B).

- Final Round: Products selected from the preliminary round will be exhibited at AB's home venue from March 24th, 2014 (Monday) to March 28th, 2014 (Friday). The final judging will take place on April 2nd, 2014 (Wednesday).

- Voting round via Facebook: After receiving all entries (video clips, photos, written submissions) from the preliminary round, the Organizing Committee will select and post them on the contest's Facebook page and monitor the number of likes from March 21, 2014 to 4:00 PM on April 2, 2014.
