I. Purpose and meaning
Competition“Humanity in me”is a meaningful, useful and practical activity in a series of activities organized by the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, aiming to welcome Youth Month 2014 and the 8th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the school.
The contest is an opportunity for each member and student of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to express their feelings and pride for the school they have been studying at, and at the same time, it is an opportunity to record memorable moments and unforgettable memories with the school, teachers and friends.
Competition "Humanity in me" will contribute to preserving documents about the exciting activities of the school's youth; demonstrating the spirit, identity and remarkable achievements that the units, clubs, teams and groups in the school have organized or participated in under the initiative of the school's Youth Union and the higher-level Youth Union.
II. Competition organization and rules
1. Contestants
- All Union branches and sub-branches of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities Youth Union.
- Clubs, teams, groups under the Youth Union and Student Association of the school.
- Student of University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
2. Participation form
Each unit creates photo albums, video clips, and essays about the school with the following topics:“Humanity in me”including video clips, images, interesting, authentic, and vivid articles about the school, teachers, students, and meaningful and close activities in studying or cultural, sports, arts, and volunteer activities...
Request:
- Video clip contest: Each unit makes a video clip with the theme“Humanity in me”, duration not exceeding15 minutes.
- Photo contest:
+ Number of photos: Each entry can submit a maximum of20photo and at least4image
+ Minimum image quality required2 MB
+ Each photo must have a photo name or photo caption about the idea, content, and meaning of the photo, not too long.100letter
+ Contest entries must not be copied by any means or form.
- Writing section:
Each unit performs at least10Essays about the school, teachers, students, cultural, sports, arts, volunteer activities... This section encourages creative expression reflected in the entries.
3. Submit your entry
- Time: The Organizing Committee will start collecting entries from March 18, 2014 to 4:00 p.m. on March 19, 2014.
- Submission form:
+ For video clips: print on disc and send directly to the School Youth Union Office, room 101, building B.
+ For photos: do not wash, do not print, but send via emailvpdoanhoinhanvan@gmail.com
+ For review articles: send by emailvpdoanhoinhanvan@gmail.comOr submit the product directly at the School Union Office, room 101, building B.
III. Prize structure
1. Video clip contest
- 1 overall first prize worth 1,000,000 VND
- 1 second prize worth 800,000 VND
- 1 first prize for voting for Facebook social network worth 500,000 VND
2. Photo contest
- 1 overall first prize worth 1,000,000 VND
- 1 second prize worth 800,000 VND
- 1 first prize for voting for Facebook social network worth 500,000 VND
3. Writing section
- 1 overall first prize worth 1,000,000 VND
- 1 second prize worth 800,000 VND
- 1 first and third prizes worth 500,000 VND
4. 01 prize for the Collective with many quality entries: 1,000,000 VND
IV. Organizing the evaluation of contest entries
- Preliminary round: The judges will judge video clips, photo albums, and essays about the school with the theme“Humanity in me”received from the Youth Union branches, Clubs/Teams/Groups on March 20, 2014 (Thursday) at the School Youth Union Office (Room 101, Building B).
- Final round: The quality products selected from the preliminary round will be exhibited at AB's home ground from 24/3/2014 (Monday) to 28/3/2014 (Friday). On 02/4/2014 (Wednesday) the final award will be selected.
- Voting round via Facebook social network: After receiving all entries (video clips, photos, writings) of the preliminary round, the Organizing Committee will select and post them on the contest's Facebook page and track the number of likes starting from March 21, 2014 to 4:00 p.m. April 2, 2014.
