2016 Tourism Foreign Language Certificate Exam Schedule

Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 610/TCDL-LH dated June 20, 2012 of the General Department of Tourism on the authorization to organize foreign language proficiency tests for international tour guides, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities respectfully sends to the General Department of Tourism the plan to organize exams and grant foreign language certificates specialized in tourism in 2016, specifically as follows:

1.Contestants:

Tour guides need to renew their international tour guide cards.
College students who wish to work as international tour guides.
Other subjects in need.

2. Exam language:English, French, Russian, German, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Thai, Spanish, Italian, Khmer, Indonesian…

3. Exam registration form:

a. 01 4x6 photo (write full name and year of birth on the back of the photo).

b. Application form (according to attached form).

c. Photocopy of Birth Certificate (01 copy) and ID Card (01 copy).

4.Test form

a. Comprehensive essay (reading, writing, listening skills): 90 minutes.

b. Presentation by topic: 07-10 minutes.

5. Exam fee:Contact the Center for details.

6. Exam organization conditions:Number of candidates from 30 or more.
