Exam schedule for specialized foreign language certificates in Tourism in 2016

In accordance with Official Letter No. 610/TCDL-LH dated June 20, 2012, from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism regarding the authorization to organize foreign language proficiency tests for international tour guides, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities respectfully submits to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism the plan for organizing the examination and issuance of specialized foreign language certificates for tourism in 2016, specifically as follows:

1.Eligible participants:

Tour guides are seeking to renew their international tour guide licenses.
University students aspire to become international tour guides.
Other groups have needs.

2. Language of examination:English, French, Russian, German, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Thai, Spanish, Italian, Khmer, Indonesian…

3. Exam registration documents:

a. One 4x6 photograph (write your full name and year of birth on the back of the photo).

b. Application form for the exam (attached template).

c. Photocopy of Birth Certificate (1 copy) and ID Card (1 copy).

4.Examination format

a. Comprehensive writing test (reading, writing, and listening skills): 90 minutes.

b. Thematic presentation: 7-10 minutes.

5. Exam fee:Contact the Center for detailed information.

6. Conditions for organizing the exam:The number of candidates is 30 or more.
