The Public Relations major, offered by the Faculty of Journalism and Communication – University of Social Sciences and Humanities, has the major code: 52360708, and the graduation title: Bachelor. The total number of credits students must accumulate is 131 credits.The goal of the public relations undergraduate program is to train graduates with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes to work in building, maintaining, and developing the image and two-way relationships between agencies, organizations, and businesses. After the course, students will have the capacity to work professionally in public relations in government and non-governmental organizations, media outlets, businesses, professional public relations service companies, political and social organizations, etc. They can also continue their studies at a higher level, accumulating experience to become leaders and experts in the field of public relations. Students in the public relations program will be equipped with a comprehensive body of general knowledge, knowledge of social sciences and humanities, and knowledge of their specific field. The program places particular emphasis on developing essential professional skills: creativity, development, and leadership in career change; and self-reliance. Teamwork skills; management and leadership skills; communication; foreign languages ​​- computer skills... Along with that, students are also fully equipped with personal ethics, professional ethics, and social ethics during their studies. For many years, the Faculty of Journalism and Communication has been one of the largest training and research institutions in journalism and communication in the country. The Faculty has been providing thousands of reporters, editors, public relations staff, advertising, event organizers, etc., with bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees to mass media agencies and political, economic, cultural, and social organizations. Opening a standardized public relations training program contributes to creating even more career opportunities for students after graduation while further affirming the prestige, position, and strong development of the Faculty.
