Invitation to write articles for the international science and technology seminar "Environmental security in Southeast Asia in the context of economic, ecological and social transition"

Within the framework of the cooperation project“An interdisciplinary approach to economic, ecological, social and policy-based transitions in Vietnam”between the Rosa Luxemburg Institute, Federal Republic of Germany and the Institute of Policy and Management, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, the University plans to organize an international seminar on "Environmental security in Southeast Asia in the context of economic, ecological and social transition" on October 25, 2019 in Hai Phong City. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities respectfully invites you to write a report and attend the seminar.

1. Reporting direction

Authors can choose one or more of the following reporting directions:

- Theoretical issues of environmental security in the context of economic, ecological and social transition;

- Environmental security from non-traditional security approaches;

- Environmental security issues in Vietnam and Southeast Asia (environmental pollution, climate change...)

- The impact of environmental security on economic, ecological and social transformation in Southeast Asia and policy implications;

- Regional and international cooperation on environmental security in Southeast Asia in the context of economic, ecological and social transformation;

- The role of ASEAN in cooperation on environmental security;

- International experience in environmental management in sustainable development.

2. Submission rules

a. Register article title and submit abstract

- The Vietnamese and English abstract (Abtract) is typed with about 200-300 words, with about 05 keywords. Information about the author of the article clearly states: Email (main author), academic title, degree, work unit.

- Deadline for submitting Abstracts to the Organizing Committee: before17:00 August 30, 2019.

b. Submit full text of article to Organizing Committee

- The full article is typed on A4 paper; length is about 4,500 - 6,000 words.

- Font Times New Roman; Font size 13; Line spacing 1.5; Top margin 2 cm; Bottom margin 2 cm;

Left margin 3 cm; Right margin 2 cm. Title in bold, uppercase, font size 14.

- Deadline for submitting full-text articles to the Organizing Committee: before 17:00 on October 5, 2019.

- The article has not been submitted or published in another journal or magazine.

- Full text articles will be reviewed and selected by the Organizing Committee to be presented at the seminar and printed in the seminar proceedings.The articles published in the proceedings will be selected by the Organizing Committee and published in the Journal of Policy and Management Research of the Science Journal of Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ISSN 2615-9295, e-ISSN 2588-1116; Website:https://js.vnu.edu.vn/PaM/) or expected to be edited and published at a reputable international publisher; and posted at the research forums of the Rosa Luxemburg Institute.
