Announcement of the list of admitted students and the enrollment and commencement plan for Master's and Doctoral programs, second intake of 2018.

Based on Decision No. 3533/QD-DHQGHN dated October 23, 2018, of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, regarding the recognition of the admission cutoff scores for postgraduate programs in the second round of 2018, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities issued Decisions No. 3058/QD-XHNV and 3059/QD-XHNV dated October 24, 2018, recognizing the successful candidates for master's and doctoral programs in the second round of 2018. To facilitate the enrollment process and training organization, the University announces the enrollment plan and opening ceremony as follows:
A. TIME AND LOCATION OF ADMISSION
1. Enrollment time: 8:00 AM - 9:45 AM on November 5th, 2018 (Monday)
2. Location: 3rd floor, Building E, University of Social Sciences and Humanities
 
B. START DATE
10:00 AM on November 5, 2018, at the Auditorium on the 8th floor of Building E, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi.
 
C. ADMISSION PROCEDURES
 
Successful candidates need to prepare the following enrollment documents:
- Prepare a complete set of documents from the list below (put them in a file folder, similar to a job application folder). Clearly write "Admission Application," "Major," "Full Name," "Date of Birth," "Address," and "Phone Number" on the cover.
- Prepare an envelope containing two 3x4 photos. Write your full name, date of birth, and major on the outside of the envelope and on the back of each photo.
- One notarized copy of the National Identity Card/Citizen ID Card
- Prepare your estimated tuition fees:
+ Master's degree training:1,215,000 VND/month x 10 months = 12,150,000 VND/year (for candidates admitted to the Tourism major, the tuition fee is 1,440,000 VND/month x 10 months = 14,440,000 VND/year)
+ Doctoral training:2,025,000 VND/month x 10 months = 20,250,000 VND/year (for candidates admitted to the Tourism major, the tuition fee is 2,400,000 VND/month x 10 months = 24,000,000 VND/year)

One notarized copy of the university diploma, along with the original (for verification). If the university degree was obtained abroad, a confirmation document from the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training is required.

One notarized copy of your university transcript.

One copy of the self-declaration resume, certified by the employing agency for candidates sent to study by their agency and certified by the local government for self-funded candidates.

One notarized copy of the University Knowledge Supplement Certificate (for candidates from related/different fields who are required to take a University Knowledge Supplement course).

One notarized copy of the required foreign language diploma/certificate (for candidates exempt from the foreign language exam).

A health certificate from a general hospital (district, town, or city level hospital or higher) issued at the time of enrollment must be valid for at least 6 months.

Proof of eligibility for priority consideration for the candidate:

- Notarized copies of household registration and birth certificate (for priority beneficiaries who are ethnic minorities residing for two consecutive years or more in localities designated as Zone 1).

- Notarized copy of household registration certificate and decision of the competent authority regarding acceptance and assignment of work (for those entitled to priority in continuous work for 2 years or more in localities designated as Zone 1).

- Certified copies of documents for individuals who are war invalids, beneficiaries of policies similar to war invalids, children of martyrs, etc.

Proof of work experience is required for candidates from other fields:

A notarized copy of the decision from the competent authority regarding the acceptance, assignment to work, or employment contract up to the date of the exam:

+ Journalism: minimum 1 year.

+ Travel: minimum 3 years.

+ Social work, Office administration: minimum 2 years.

Decision to send the individual for training by the agency/organization (for individuals sent for training by the agency).

 
2. List of documents required for doctoral admission
- Candidate's application documents (submitted during the application process)
- 2 photos (3x4cm)
- Notarized copy of ID card or Citizen's Identity Card
- Tuition fees are as per the above information.
 
D. PROCEDURES FOR RECEIVING ADMISSION NOTICES AND TRAINING PLAN
 
- Candidates who are sponsored by their employing agency or who need an admission notice to report to their agency/unit will receive it directly at the Training Department (Admissions Section), Room 601, Building E, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, from October 30th to November 2nd, 2018. For self-funded candidates, this notice serves as the official admission notice, and candidates will receive it during the enrollment process to complete the enrollment procedures.
 
- Successful candidates for master's and doctoral programs will receive their class schedules at the enrollment session. The schedules for each program are tentatively scheduled from the beginning of November 2018. After enrollment, candidates will attend the Opening Ceremony for the 2018 master's program at the Auditorium on the 8th floor of Building E, University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Note

- Candidates who have registered for preferential treatment in the admissions process on the admissions portal must submit complete supporting documents certifying their eligibility for preferential treatment when registering for the exam. Failure to do so will result in the candidate being held responsible for the false declarations and will be subject to penalties as prescribed by regulations.

- Candidates admitted to the Applied Journalism major at the Binh Duong University Branch in Ca Mau and at Cuu Long University should prepare the enrollment information as specified in section C and enroll at the training facility. The official enrollment date will be announced by the Binh Duong University Branch and Cuu Long University, tentatively in mid-November 2018.
