Announcement of the list of successful candidates and the plan for admission and opening of the second batch of Master's and Doctoral training in 2018

Pursuant to Decision No. 3533/QD-DHQGHN dated October 23, 2018 of Hanoi National University on recognizing the admission scores for postgraduate students in the second round of 2018, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities issued Decision No. 3058/QD-XHNV and 3059/QD-XHNV dated October 24, 2018 to recognize candidates admitted to master's and doctoral training in the second round of 2018. To facilitate the admission process and training organization, the School announces the admission plan and the Opening Ceremony as follows:
A. TIME AND PLACE OF ADMISSION
1. Admission time: 8:00 - 9:45 on November 5, 2018 (Monday)
2. Location: 3rd floor, Building E, University of Social Sciences and Humanities
 
B. OPENING TIME
10:00 a.m. November 5, 2018 at the 8th floor Hall, Building E, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 336 Nguyen Trai - Thanh Xuan - Hanoi
 
C. ADMISSION PROCEDURES
 
Successful candidates need to prepare the following admission procedures:
- Prepare a set of documents including the documents listed below (put them in a file bag (similar to a job application). On the cover, clearly write Admission file, Major, Full name, date of birth, address, phone number.
- Prepare an envelope containing 2 3x4 photos. Write your full name, date of birth, and major on the outside of the envelope and on the back of each photo.
- 01 notarized copy of ID card/Citizen ID card
- Prepare estimated tuition fees:
+ Master training:1,215,000 VND/month x 10 months = 12,150,000 VND/year (for candidates admitted to the Tourism major, the tuition fee is 1,440,000 VND/month x 10 months = 14,440,000 VND/year)
+ Doctoral training:2,025,000 VND/month x 10 months = 20,250,000 VND/year (for candidates admitted to the Tourism major, the tuition fee is 2,400,000 VND/month x 10 months = 24,000,000 VND/year)

01 notarized copy of University Diploma with original (for verification). If graduated from university abroad, there must be a confirmation document from the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training.

01 notarized copy of University transcript.

01 copy of CV, confirmed by the agency for candidates sent to study by the agency and confirmed by the local authority for self-funded candidates

01 notarized copy of University Complementary Knowledge Certificate (for candidates from related/different majors who must take University Complementary Knowledge).

01 notarized copy of Foreign Language Diploma/Certificate as prescribed (for candidates exempted from foreign language exam).

Health certificate from a general hospital (district, town, city level hospital or higher) valid for at least 06 months at the time of admission.

Proof of candidate's priority status:

- Notarized copy of household registration and birth certificate (for priority beneficiaries who are ethnic minorities living for 2 consecutive years or more in localities defined as Area 1).

- Notarized copy of household registration and decision of competent authority to receive and transfer work (for those who enjoy priority to work continuously for 2 years or more in localities defined as Area 1).

- Notarized copies of documents for war invalids, policy beneficiaries such as war invalids, children of martyrs, etc.

Proof of seniority for candidates from other industries:

Notarized copy of the decision of the competent authority to accept, transfer work or work contract as of the exam date:

+ Journalism: minimum 01 year.

+ Travel: minimum 03 years.

+ Social work, Office administration: minimum 02 years.

Decision to send students to study by the agency/organization (for students sent to study by the agency).

 
2. List of documents required for PhD admission
- Candidate profile (submitted when applying)
- 02 3x4cm photos
- Notarized copy of ID card or Citizen ID card
- Tuition fees as per above content.
 
D. PROCEDURES FOR RECEIVING ADMISSION NOTICE AND TRAINING PLAN
 
- Candidates who are sent to study by their agency or who need to receive an admission notice to report to their agency/unit will receive it directly at the Training Department (Admissions Department), Room 601, Building E, University of Social Sciences and Humanities from October 30 to November 2, 2018. For self-funded candidates, this notice replaces the official Admission Notice and candidates will receive the Notice during the admission session to complete the admission procedures.
 
- Candidates admitted to master's and doctoral programs will receive their study schedules at the admission session. The study schedules for the training majors are expected to start in early November 2018. After admission, candidates will attend the Opening Ceremony of the 2018 master's training course at the 8th floor Hall - Building E, University of Social Sciences and Humanities./.

Note

- Candidates who have registered for preferential treatment in admission on the admission portal must submit full proof of preferential treatment when registering for the exam. If not completed, candidates will be responsible for dishonest declarations and will be handled according to regulations.

- Candidates admitted to the Applied Journalism major at Binh Duong University Branch in Ca Mau and at Cuu Long University will prepare the admission content in section C and enroll at the training facility. The official admission time will be announced by Binh Duong University Branch and Cuu Long University, expected in mid-November 2018.
