Announcement regarding the refresher course (conversion course) to qualify for the Master's program in Journalism entrance exam.

The Institute of Journalism and Communication Training, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, is opening a course.This course provides supplementary knowledge for individuals who do not yet have a university degree in Journalism and are therefore eligible to take the postgraduate entrance exam in Journalism.

Classes are scheduled to begin in January 2019.

1. Master's Program in Journalism – Research-Oriented

Object:Those with a university degree in a field closely related to Journalism, such as Literature, Linguistics, Political Science, International Studies, History, Sociology, Cultural Studies, Philosophy, Law, Anthropology, Management Science, Psychology, Information Science, International Relations, Publishing, Film and Television Directing, Stage Directing, Cinematography...

Course duration: 2 months

Number of credits required: 23 credits

2. Master's Program in Journalism – Applied Focus

ObjectAll those who graduated from university with a major other than Journalism.

Course duration: 2 months

Number of credits required: 35 credits

Certificate:Students who complete the program will be awarded a Certificate of Advanced Knowledge, qualifying them to take the entrance exam for the Master's program in Journalism at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

The certificate is valid indefinitely, allowing individuals to take postgraduate entrance exams at any time that suits their personal circumstances.

Application documents:

1. The application form must include the applicant's email address and mobile phone number (typed by the applicant on A4 paper).
2. One copy of the resume/CV with confirmation from the agency (or local authority).
3. One notarized photocopy of your university diploma.
4. One notarized photocopy of your university transcript.
