Announcement Regarding the Re-appointment Needs for Associate Professors in 2026Based on Decision No. 37/2018/QD-TTg dated August 31, 2018, of the Prime Minister promulgating regulations on standards and procedures for considering and recognizing the attainment of professorship and associate professorship titles; and procedures for considering the revocation of recognition and dismissal from professorship and associate professorship titles;
Based on the strategic development plan of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities; and based on the requirements for training quality, scientific research, and faculty structure, the University announces the needs and conditions for reappointment to the position of Associate Professor (PGS) in 2026:

2. Conditions for registration for appointment
- Appointed to the title of Professor or Associate Professor for a full 5-year term, with the appointment taking place in February 2021 (after Decision No. 37/2018/QD-TTg dated August 31, 2018 of the Prime Minister came into effect).
- To fulfill the responsibilities and duties assigned by the University and the unit during the period of appointment to the title of Professor or Associate Professor.
- I wish to be reappointed to the position of Professor or Associate Professor at the University.
3. The application dossier for appointment to the positions of professor and associate professor includes:- Application for reappointment to the title of Professor, Associate Professor
according to the attached form.
The University of Social Sciences and Humanities will begin accepting applications for reappointment to professor and associate professor positions in 2026 from February 27, 2026 to March 9, 2026 at the Personnel Department (Room 602, Building E, 336 Nguyen Trai Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi).
