Announcement of the Principal's Conclusions at the March 2026 Work Review Meeting

On March 2nd, 2026, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held its annual meeting. Rector Hoang Anh Tuan chaired the meeting, which was attended by the Party Secretary, the Vice Rectors, the Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries of the Party branches, the Heads and Deputy Heads of the units, the Chief Accountant, the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal, and the leaders of the various mass organizations.
After listening to the exchange and discussion at the briefing conference on the following contents: (1) Report on the implementation of work in February 2026 and the work plan for March 2026; (2) Report on the implementation of the Rector's conclusions at the February 2026 work briefing conference; (3) Exchange and discussion of units and functional departments; (4) Opinions of the Vice-Rectors; the Rector concluded:
1. We generally agree with the opinions expressed by the school's leadership and the discussions from the various units at the conference. We request that the heads of each unit continue to uphold and enhance their leadership responsibilities; proactively develop plans and implement tasks; actively propose solutions to promote the school's activities; and strengthen coordination in implementing the issued plan.
2. Organizational Structure: Continue reviewing and implementing the second phase of restructuring the organizational structure according to the plan, with the aim of merging to reduce and adjust internal second-level units, in order to ensure a streamlined, effective, and efficient organizational structure.
The conference introduced the personnel recruited to work at the school.
3. Develop a plan and organize the implementation of the Job Position-Based Salary Scheme before July 1, 2026, in order to comply with state regulations, improve the quality of the workforce, ensure transparency and fairness in evaluating, recognizing, and paying income, and create motivation for civil servants and employees.
4. Training Activities: In 2026, in addition to implementing training activities according to plan, special attention will be paid to promoting innovation in training methods (teaching, learning, testing, evaluation, etc.); implementing the digitalization project; accelerating the adjustment of postgraduate training programs; accelerating the internationalization of training; focusing on communicating about the digitalization project, e-lectures, KPIs on training technology according to the Ministry of Education and Training and VNU; international training, etc.
5. Heads of the training programs (9 programs) should pay attention to coordinating the implementation and completion of the curriculum according to the economic and technical standards.
6. Science: Define specific KPIs for each activity, regularly review and ensure that activities are implemented on schedule and achieve the desired results, and increase the number of research topics… (review KPIs monthly and quarterly).
7. Administration - Public Service: Implement energy saving measures; improve public service practices (especially strictly enforcing regulations regarding vehicles, electricity and water, attendance tracking for administrative staff, and organizing disciplinary evaluations for administrative staff).
8. Finance: Continue to diversify revenue sources (Science, Services, etc.), and streamline expenditure (targeted spending, high-yield investment, etc.).
9. Other activities: Implement according to the issued plan.
We request that the Board of Directors regularly monitor and direct all aspects of work, strengthen inspection work, and report to the Principal on the progress of implementing the plan and tasks within their respective areas of responsibility. We request that functional departments proactively implement and ensure timely completion, especially for key activities.
Heads of units are requested to widely disseminate and implement the Rector's conclusions from the monthly briefing sessions seriously, fully, and on schedule.
The Administrative and General Affairs Department respectfully announces the conclusions of the Rector at the March 2026 work review meeting for the information and implementation of all functional departments and units.
