The Planning and Finance Department would like to send to all staff members (subject to income tax in 2015) a detailed list of income and tax payable for 2015. We kindly request that heads of units assign administrative staff from their respective units to receive this list from the Planning and Finance Department and inform each staff member (subject to tax) to review all income and family allowance deductions in their 2015 personal income tax return. Any questions regarding income in their tax returns should be addressed directly to the Planning and Finance Department before April 7th, 2016. After this deadline, if there is no response regarding income and tax payable, the School will proceed with tax settlement and payment to the Hanoi Tax Department, and simultaneously collect the 2015 tax payable from each individual using two methods:
Option one: Officials must pay directly in cash before April 25, 2016.
Secondly: The school will deduct the tax from salaries, starting with the May salary and continuing for subsequent months until the entire amount due is paid. Based on the tax payable by each staff member, the school will deduct a percentage of their monthly salary, ranging from 50% to 100%.
This is very important information regarding the rights of employees. We kindly request that heads of units pay attention and inform their employees (those subject to personal income tax) of the above information.
