1. Contestants
Students studying in grade 12 according to the general education program promulgated in Circular No. 32/2018/TT-BGDDT dated December 26, 2018 of the Minister of Education and Training (MOET) on the General Education Program; amended and supplemented with some contents in Circular No. 13/20122/TT-BGDDT dated August 3, 2022 of the Minister of Education and Training; wishing to take the HSA exam, comply with the epidemic prevention regulations of local authorities (if any).
2. Time and place of exam
(Students should pay attention to the mid-term exam schedule of high school to avoid choosing the same HSA exam session).
*The system will open for candidates to choose the second exam session (if desired) from 09:00 on March 3, 2025 until 14 days before the official exam date. Candidates choose the exam location on the exam registration system.

3. Select exam and pay fee

http:/hsa.edu.vn/and select the corresponding exam session. The system only allows an account to log in and operate on one computer device at the same time. Candidates can only choose 01 exam session in the exam sessions from 09:00 on February 23, 2025 to 16:30 on March 2, 2025. The system will open for candidates to choose a second exam session (if desired) from 09:00 on March 3, 2025 until 14 days before the official exam date. Registration and exam fees must be paid online within 96 hours of completing exam registration. After 96 hours, if candidates do not pay the fee, the exam session will be automatically canceled. http://khaothi.vnu.edu.vn/.The system allows candidates to register for a maximum of 02 exams/year (as of December 31, 2025). Two consecutive exams must be at least 28 days apart. The exam session will automatically close 14 days before the official exam date.
Exam fee from 2025 is 600,000 VND/candidate/exam (Six hundred thousand VND/candidate/exam).
Fees paid are non-refundable for any reason. Candidates should read the instructions carefully and consider carefully before paying the fee.
Exam notification will be sent via email and posted on the exam account 07 days before the official exam date.
4. Exam organization
From February 15, 2025, the HSA will be organized by the Institute of Digital Training and Testing under VNU. The exams will take place from March 15, 2025 to May 18, 2025 in Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh, Hai Phong, Ha Tinh, Thanh Hoa, etc. The exam organization ensures disease prevention and the study plan of students for the 2022-2025 school year.
5. Exam
The High School Student Competency Test is done on a computer, lasting 195-199 minutes, including 2 compulsory sections in the fields of Mathematics & Data Processing (50 questions, 75 minutes) and Literature - Language (50 questions, 60 minutes). 6. Certificate of results
Candidates can check their exam results and receive their Certificate of Exam Results 14 days after taking the exam. The Certificate of Exam Results will be sent via registered mail to the address and phone number declared in the HSA exam registration account.
