Recruitment for the Advanced Training Course for Postgraduate Entrance Exam in Journalism and Media Management

Course start date: May 2020

1. Candidates must have a university degree in a related field.:Theory, history and criticism of film and television; Screenwriting for film and television; Directing for film and television; Vietnamese language and culture; Philosophy; Scientific socialism; Religious studies; History; Linguistics; Literature; Cultural studies; Cultural management; Economics; Political science; Public administration; International relations; Sociology; Anthropology; Psychology; International studies; Media technology; Publishing; Publishing business; Information and library science; Information management; Business administration; Marketing; Management science; Public administration; Law.

- Duration: 20 credits

- Tuition fee for the entire course: 4,500,000 VND

- Candidates from related fields with at least one year of experience in journalism and media and a membership card of the Vietnam Journalists Association will be exempt from 8 out of 20 credits in the supplementary knowledge program.(Tuition fee remaining to be paid: 2,700,000 VND).

2. Candidates who graduated from university with a different major

- Duration: 29 credits

- Tuition fee for the entire course: 6,500,000 VND

- Candidates from other fields with at least two years of experience in journalism and media and a membership card of the Vietnam Journalists Association are exempt from 8 out of 29 credits in the supplementary knowledge program.(Tuition fee remaining to be paid: 4,700,000 VND).

3. Special Offer:

- 20% tuition fee reduction for alumni of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi.

4. Certification

- Students who complete the program will be awarded a Certificate of Supplementary Knowledge, qualifying them to take the postgraduate entrance exam in Journalism and Media Management at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
