On June 29th and 30th, 2022, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU - USSH) held a Conference on Developing Key Plans for the 2022-2023 academic year. The conference took place in a solemn and enthusiastic atmosphere, reviewing the positive results of the past academic year and fostering a spirit of creativity and innovation with proposals and plans for the new academic year.
The Board of Directors of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities presided over the conference.
Attending the conference were Prof. Dr. Le Quan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Hanoi National University, and Prof. Dr. Phung Huu Phu, former first Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Chairman of the University's Policy Advisory Council.
Representing the University of Social Sciences and Humanities were the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, the leaders of departments and divisions, training units, and student organizations within the university.
Professor Phung Huu Phu delivered a speech at the conference, highly appreciating the results achieved by the school in the past academic year, and especially emphasizing the key tasks that need to be implemented in the coming academic year.
Over the past year, the school has completed the development of the Project Proposal.Planning for training sectors and specializations for the period 2021 But 2025;Complete the adjustment of 8 training programs according to economic and technical standards.(Political Science, History, Archival Studies, International Studies, Psychology, Literature, Vietnamese Studies, Sociology);Phase 2 of the project "Strengthening online Vietnamese language teaching for Vietnamese people abroad" has been completed.; at the same time kThe contract includes compiling 26 university textbooks and publishing 4 books.textbook,(reference book)...
Training activitiesincreasinglystandardized and enhancedquality.The flexible and rationally designed teaching and learning plan has facilitated the teaching and learning process for lecturers and students, improving the efficiency of using facilities and lecture halls; Activities to innovate teaching methods have been increasingly strengthened with 167 contracts for innovation in teaching and learning methods implemented (tdouble the figure compared to the same period last school year.).
In the field of scientific research, in addition to the policy of rewarding international publications, the University has promptly revised, adjusted, and supplemented regulations on scientific research to link training and scientific research; and developed policies to create favorable conditions for staff and students, such as the Regulations on managing basic-level scientific research projects; and the Program to support staff and postgraduate students in publishing internationally…
Quality assurance efforts have been intensified. The school has completed its second-cycle self-assessment report and is currently evaluating 11 training programs according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training and one training program according to AUN standards.
Regarding infrastructure development,The school has developed a plan to upgrade, repair, and supplement equipment in lecture halls and other units to promptly support training, research, and management activities.In addition, the school has completedto undergo monitoring and evaluation and continue to maintain the Quality Management System certification according to ISO 9001:2015 standards..

The conference heard presentations from Vice Rectors Lai Quoc Khanh, Dao Thanh Truong, and Dang Thi Thu Huong on key directions and tasks in areas such as facility management and administration, scientific research and development cooperation, training, student support, quality assurance, and communication.
Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector of the University, presented seven key tasks for the 2022-2023 academic year with specific solutions to be implemented in the coming year, with particular emphasis on innovation and creativity in teaching activities, scientific research and entrepreneurship for students, and the improvement and modernization of facilities.
