At the meeting, Vice President of VNU Nguyen Hieu congratulated and acknowledged the contributions of the staff working in communications at VNU. They have contributed significantly to spreading the image and brand of VNU and its member units to the community and society.
It can be seen that communication is the bridge between VNU and society, between units and individuals within VNU, between the school and students. The harmonious combination of internal development and timely, systematic and creative communication work helps the image of VNU become more and more prestigious and closer to friends at home and abroad.
Vice President Nguyen Hieu especially emphasized the importance of communication activities in the digital age. This is one of the factors that determine the success that VNU is implementing: the historical milestone of VNU moving its headquarters to Hoa Lac, innovating teaching methods, building a smart, green and digital university, scholarship policies for students, graduate students, admission programs, etc.
The Vice President believes that with a long tradition and intelligence, the staff working in communications will always maintain the passion, creativity, and responsibility for the profession, constantly improve their expertise, and promote the glorious 97-year tradition of Vietnam Revolutionary Press. The Vice President suggested that the team continue to improve their expertise as well as connect the internal communications network to easily share and support information between units, together with VNU, Hanoi, overcome difficulties and challenges as well as promote the achievements and results, and contribute more to the development of VNU, Hanoi.
At the meeting, representatives of leaders in charge of communications from the University of Foreign Languages, the International School, the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Sciences, and the Institute of Journalism and Communication highly appreciated the vital importance of communications work at the unit. Representatives of the units' communications leaders also shared valuable and practical experiences in effective communications work in recent times.
Representatives of the units also hope that in the coming time, there will be a need for closer cooperation and connection between the units. VNU also needs to have a long-term common communication strategy so that the units can closely follow the reality and together spread the messages, policies and mechanisms of the VNU brand to the wider community.
On this occasion, VNU Vice President Nguyen Hieu awarded Certificates of Merit from the President of VNU to 09 units with outstanding contributions to communication work including: University of Foreign Languages, University of Economics, International School, Vietnam-Japan University, Faculty of Interdisciplinary Sciences, Center for National Defense and Security Education, Institute of Journalism and Communication Training, University of Education, Center for Library and Digital Knowledge.
