The program aims to support students, especially those facing difficulties after the Covid-19 pandemic and during the second semester exams of the 2019-2020 academic year. The program will take place from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on June 1-2, 2020, in Room 103, Building E, University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
Students were able to purchase essential items such as rice, instant noodles, milk, sausages, canned fish, fish sauce, seasoning, face masks, hand sanitizer, etc., for free.
At the end of the two-day program, 2217 students visited to shop. The supermarket released over 300 boxes of instant noodles, more than 1 ton of rice, nearly 200 boxes of food, and many other essential items.
As a member of the student volunteer team, Do Anh Dung, Deputy Team Leader of the Student Volunteer Shock Team, shared: “This is the second time the school has supported students during the COVID season. The first time, we supported students who couldn't return home and remained in Hanoi. The remaining gifts were used to help students this time, to share some of the burden after the COVID season. I feel quite proud of the school after this program, because the school has such humane programs. I am truly proud to be able to support people.”
