Dear Generous Donors

First and foremost, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, would like to express its deepest gratitude to all benefactors for their enthusiastic support for the university's students during the period of nationwide social isolation to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic.

Starting from April 9, 2020, the school began implementing the charitable activity "Teachers and Students Together Overcoming the Covid-19 Pandemic" to provide food and essential supplies to students from other provinces who are facing difficulties while staying in Hanoi to study online, in line with the education sector's spirit of "Temporarily suspending school attendance - not suspending learning".

It is truly touching and gratifying that the school's perspective has been widely encouraged and shared by the community. In just the first two weeks of implementation (from April 9th ​​to April 21st), the school received contributions from over 148 organizations and individuals, including: 175,800,000 VND in cash, 3.7 tons of rice, 512 boxes of instant noodles, 7,500 eggs, 89 boxes of sausages, 36 boxes of juice, 46 boxes of milk, 300 gift packages, dozens of boxes of various food items, and 820 face masks...

Thanks to these valuable sources of support, the school has been able to deliver gifts to nearly 600 students (including international students) in two separate deliveries, totaling 1,180 gifts. Even more heartwarming is that the school's staff and students voluntarily delivered these gifts directly to the students. In the coming time, the remaining gifts will continue to be delivered to all disadvantaged students returning to school after the pandemic.
