QH-2020-X students participate in "Political activities and integration week"

At the opening ceremony, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Principal of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) introduced general information about the University to students such as history, mission and vision, faculties and departments, majors and training programs, mass organizations, student counseling and support services, clubs and extracurricular activities for students.

The Vice Principal also shared that the QH-2020.X course is the first class of students to study an innovative training program of the School. The new training program has balanced theoretical subjects with applied subjects, to ensure both basic and integrated and modern features.

After graduation, Humanities students can take on job positions in many different industries and fields. In fact, there are alumni who have become directors and general directors of large companies and corporations in Vietnam. Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan advised new students to cultivate 4 necessary elements of a worker in the era of Industry 4.0: knowledge, attitude, skills, and positive habits. He hopes that students will be successful in their future careers, regardless of their professional or specialized field.

After listening to the Vice Principal's sharing, new students will be informed about the Youth Union and Student Association; regulations and rules for studying and training; registering student information on the VNU information portal; and introducing the reproductive health care program for students.

During the integration week, new students also have the opportunity to meet, get to know each other, chat and share new things about themselves when living in the common home called the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. This is also an opportunity for two-way dialogue between teachers and new students in a joyful and harmonious atmosphere. In addition to the lecture content, students also have the opportunity to interact with each other, organize Teambuilding activities to create cohesion and confidence when expressing their thoughts, wishes or things they do not understand about the University.

"Political activities and integration week for students of Course QH-2020.X" will continue to take place on October 25, 31, 2020, November 1 and 8, 2020 at the 8th floor Hall of Building E. Next, students will participate in health check-ups on October 24, 25, 31 and November 1, 2020 at the General Clinic of VNU, 182 Luong The Vinh, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi.
