Green Summer Program 2020: Promoting the professional strengths of member units of VNU

On the afternoon of October 9, 2020, in Ba Vi, within the framework of the 2020 summer youth volunteer campaign summary program, the VNU Youth Union and Ba Vi District Youth Union signed a cooperation agreement for the period 2020 - 2025.

Comrade Nguyen Hoang Giang - Deputy Secretary of the VNU Youth Union, Head of the Steering Committee of the 2020 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign presented a summary of the campaign implemented in Ba Vi district.

Participating in the Green Summer program, VNU has 9 volunteer teams in 9 communes of Ba Vi district. After 3 months of the program, each volunteer team completed the projects and tasks that the youth had registered for, leaving good impressions and feelings for the people, and being recognized and highly appreciated by local authorities.

Youth projects in the campaign: VNU Youth Union supported 50 million VND to build a house of gratitude for Mr. Chu Huy Tho's family in Tong Lenh village, Tong Bat commune, Ba Vi district; Donated 02 "green knowledge" bookcases with over 200 books worth 10,000,000 VND (Faculty of International Affairs); Built a "Children's playground" with a contribution of 10,000,000 VND (University of Social Sciences and Humanities); Planted a "Youth Flower Road" on the road from National Highway 32 to Cam Thuong commune worth 2,000,000 VND (University of Social Sciences and Humanities); Renovated and repaired 01 house for the family of war invalid Nguyen Van Nghia, brother of martyr Nguyen Van Duoc worth 30,000,000 VND (Foreign Languages); Leveling the ground, pouring concrete at the martyrs' cemetery in Cam Linh commune, donating 04 stone benches to Cam Linh Secondary School with a total value of 25,000,000 VND (University of Technology); 02 houses of 02 poor families in Tong Bat commune were completely repainted worth 30,000,000 VND; Donating and planting rows of youth trees on the road next to the martyrs' cemetery in Phu Chau commune worth 8,000,000 VND (University of Education); Donating 02 "Natural Bookcases" worth 3,500,000 VND (University of Natural Sciences); Donating 02 "Learning Bookcases" worth 4,000,000 VND (Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy); Building a lighting system for the football field and the youth flower road worth 15,000,000 VND (Faculty of Law).

The VNU Youth Union campaign donated nearly 300 million VND and completed more than 1,200 working days on projects and youth work.

Trên cơ sở các kết quả đã đạt được trong chương trình mùa hè xanh, Đoàn ĐHQGHN và Huyện đoàn Ba Vì thống nhất ký kết thỏa thuận hợp tác giai đoạn 2020-2025 nhằm chia sẻ nguồn lực, phát huy tiềm năng, thế mạnh của mỗi bên trong việc phối hợp tổ chức các hoạt động nhằm tạo môi trường rèn luyện để đoàn viên, thanh niên phát triển toàn diện; quảng bá hình ảnh ĐHQGHN, chung sức cùng cộng đồng xây dựng Thủ đô xanh - sạch - đẹp, văn minh và giàu mạnh.

Đoàn ĐHQGHN và Huyện đoàn Ba Vì ký kết thỏa thuận hợp tác giai đoạn 2020-2025

Phát biểu tại buổi lễ, đồng chí Nguyễn Ngọc Tú - Huyện ủy viên, Bí thư Huyện đoàn Ba Vì nhấn mạnh “Chương trình hợp tác giữa hai đơn vị là tiền đề để tổ chức nhiều chương trình có ý nghĩa, thiết thực hơn nữa để cùng chung tay với với các cấp chính quyền và nhân dân Ba Vì hoàn thành mục tiêu đến năm 2023 là Huyện nông thôn mới của Thành phố Hà Nội”.

Tại buổi lễ đồng chí Trương Ngọc Kiểm - Bí thư Đoàn ĐHQGHN phát biểu “Đoàn ĐHQGHN mong muốn những hoạt động gắn kết giữa hai đơn vị sẽ không chỉ dừng lại ở trong chiến dịch Mùa hè tình nguyện 2020 mà sẽ được lan tỏa và có giá trị bền vững để chung sức với tuổi trẻ Ba Vì trong việc tham gia xây dựng nông thôn mới, đảm bảo an sinh xã hội bằng các chương trình cụ thể, thiết thực, hiệu quả”.

Trong những năm tới, căn cứ vào tình hình và nhu cầu thực tế, hàng năm Đoàn Đại học Quốc gia Hà Nội và Huyện đoàn Ba Vì sẽ thống nhất những nội dung phối hợp hoạt động cụ thể, thiết thực tại địa phương.
