On the morning of June 13, 2010, a delegation of trade union officials from the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho University, Da Nang University, and Hue University visited the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi). Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Rector - presided over the reception.
On the morning of June 13, 2010, a delegation of trade union officials from the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho University, Da Nang University, and Hue University visited the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi). Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Rector - presided over the reception.Professor Nguyen Van Khanh introduced the history of the University's development, its training programs, and its future development directions. The Rector also emphasized the University's achievements in training many high-ranking leaders for the Party and the State. Representatives from regional universities exchanged information with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities regarding credit-based training, scientific research, and expanding cooperative relationships between members of the Vietnam National University and regional universities. Following this, the delegation visited the Museum of Anthropology and listened to Associate Professor Lam Thi My Dung, Director, present the findings from the archaeological excavation at Thanh Den (Me Linh, Vinh Phuc) in May 2010. Among the information that attracted the delegates' attention were the new discoveries and research findings that helped lead to more accurate conclusions about the 3,000-year-old rice grain germination event – ​​an archaeological event that has recently caused a sensation in the scientific community.
