On the morning of May 23, 2021, 696 voters from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities gathered at polling station No. 14 (lobby on the first floor of building E) to participate in the election of representatives to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term.

On May 21, 2021, a delegation from the Hanoi City Election Committee, led by Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan (Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council, and Chairman of the Hanoi City Election Committee), visited and inspected the preparations for the election of National Assembly Deputies for the 15th term and People's Council Deputies at all levels for the 2021-2026 term. The delegation was welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh (Vice Rector of the University, Head of the Election Steering Committee), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu (Head of the Student Affairs and Student Activities Department, Deputy Head of the Election Steering Committee), and other officials and members of the University's Election Team.

On the occasion of the 131st anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2021) and the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term (May 23, 2021), Professor Dr. Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, wrote an important article: "Some Theoretical and Practical Issues on Socialism and the Path to Socialism in Vietnam". The article received high praise from a large number of cadres, Party members, and the people.

Ho Chi Minh, the national liberation hero, a world cultural figure, and the founder of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, not only left our nation a great revolutionary cause but also a precious legacy for the entire Party and people: a shining example of noble moral qualities, a lifetime of selfless sacrifice and struggle for the country and the happiness of the people. During these days, as the whole country joyfully celebrates the 131st anniversary of his birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2021), the Central Party Office has issued Document No. 731-CV/VPTW to news agencies and the press announcing the Politburo's conclusion on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016, of the 12th Politburo "On promoting the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style." On May 17, 2021, a meeting was held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities between the Steering Committee for Election Work and the leaders of the Institutes/Faculties/Departments to discuss the final preparations for the upcoming election of National Assembly Deputies for the 15th term and People's Council Deputies at all levels for the 2021-2026 term on May 23.
