The tasks performed were:
Firstly, the University compiled a list of members for its Election Committee and submitted it to the People's Committee of Thanh Xuan Trung Ward, Thanh Xuan District, for a decision to establish Election Committee 14 of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi, consisting of 21 members.
Secondly, the University has instructed its departments to have staff and students register their names for the election at the University. The departments have proactively coordinated, and to date, the number of voters at the University is 752. Among the University's voters, only one staff member participated in the election, the rest are students.
Thirdly, after finalizing the list, the school sent it to the Ward People's Committee for stamping and posting for 30 days before the election.
Fourth, based on the revised list, the school sends it back to the Ward People's Committee for final confirmation and to receive voter cards. The school fills in all the information on the voter cards, returns them to the Ward People's Committee for stamping, and then distributes them to the relevant units for voters to give before the election.
Fifth, the school has made very thorough preparations for the election day:
- The school fully participated in meetings with the District People's Committee, the Ward People's Committee, and the Vietnam National University, Hanoi to discuss election procedures. It also welcomed inspection teams from competent authorities to ensure the best possible election results.
- In addition to Decision No. 14 listing the Election Committee members, the School also issued a decision to establish an Election Organizing Committee comprising representatives from all units to ensure the election process is quick, convenient, and achieves the best possible results.
- The Party Committee and the Board of Directors provided timely and thorough guidance to ensure that the election day proceeded legally, achieved results, and maintained safety, especially in epidemic prevention and control. Based on this guidance, the school's on-duty staff carried out tasks such as disinfecting the polling area, preparing for temperature checks, sanitization, masks, and social distancing. In addition, the school allocated time frames, diagrams, and plans for the polling units from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on May 23, 2021.
- At this point, the decoration work has been completed and has been highly appreciated by the inspection team from Thanh Xuan District, Thanh Xuan Trung Ward, and competent authorities for its thoughtfulness, systematic approach, and adherence to the guidelines of the Election Organizing Committee.

The school was assigned the responsibility of coordinating the organization of three elections for National Assembly and People's Council representatives at all levels within the school from 2011 to 2021. This year, due to the complex developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, the number of registered students is modest because students are taking time off from in-person classes and studying online at home. However, the school is confident that, with close guidance and thorough preparation, May 23, 2021 - the election day for the 15th National Assembly and People's Council representatives at all levels for the 2021-2026 term - will certainly be a great success, contributing to the overall success of the city and the country.
