The Faculty of Literature, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, formerly the Faculty of Linguistics and Literature, Hanoi University, is one of the leading institutions in Vietnam for training in Literature and Classical Chinese Studies. Mentioning the Faculty of Literature brings to mind its nearly 65-year history of establishment and development. But mentioning the Faculty of Literature also brings to mind the present day, a highly capable group adapting to the new educational and training context.

Our generation, the later 70s generation, grew up in a time of peace and truly matured during the years of national renewal and opening up. Fortunately for me and my peers, the Journalism Faculty (at the University of Hanoi) was established in the very year we took our university entrance exams.

After nearly 25 years of development, the Department of Archival Studies and Office Management has become a familiar place for many generations of lecturers and students, and a trusted place for agencies and organizations to entrust their professional expertise.
