University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

In the vibrant atmosphere of the Lunar New Year 2021, which also marks the "first spring" for the teachers and students of the High School for Social Sciences and Humanities, the students have completed and "released" their Tet (Lunar New Year) issue of the school's magazine, a home-grown publication that is nonetheless professional and full of emotion.

Kinhtedothi - Today is the third day of the Lunar New Year, a time to honor teachers. Due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the concept of celebrating Teachers' Day has changed to suit the times. Associate Professor Pham Hong Long, Head of the Faculty of Tourism Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, shared his thoughts on this new two-way relationship that helps to strengthen the teacher-student bond.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thien Nam (Department of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language, University of Social Sciences and Humanities) is currently a visiting professor at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. Due to the ongoing and tense Covid-19 pandemic and travel difficulties, he has been unable to return to Vietnam. As a Vietnamese son living abroad, he shares his thoughts on the Lunar New Year with readers in his homeland.
