The subjects and conditions for the exam are junior high school students graduating in 2023 nationwide, meeting the requirements for conduct and academic performance classification for the entire school year of junior high school classes from good or higher; junior high school graduation classification from good or higher.
For specialized classes, each candidate can register for 1 of 3 specialized classes (Literature, History, Geography). The school will accept applications for specialized classes from April 3 to May 5. Candidates can submit their applications directly to the school or by post.
The exam is scheduled for June 4. Candidates must take four written exams: Literature, Math, English and specialized subjects (Literature, History, Geography). The exam is in essay form for Literature and specialized subjects; multiple choice for Math and English. The exam structure has been posted on the school's website.
The exam time for Literature is 90 minutes, Math is 50 minutes, English is 45 minutes, and specialized subjects are 150 minutes. Before July 1, the school will announce the exam results, the results of the admission to specialized classes, and the information on the admission to high-quality classes on the school's website.
For the high-quality class, the school will recruit candidates who are not admitted to the specialized program, have a score of 4 or higher in each subject (including specialized subjects) and have registered for admission to the high-quality class.
