After 4 days of urgent, serious and effective work by the External Assessment Team, on October 14, 2025, Thang Long Education Quality Assessment Center in coordination with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi organized the closing ceremony of the official external assessment survey of 04 university-level training programs including: Political Science, Korean Studies, Archival Studies, Cultural Studies.
Attending the closing session were members of the External Evaluation Team, Thang Long Education Quality Assessment Center, representatives of the Board of Directors and leaders of functional departments, faculties and a large number of lecturers and students of the faculties of Political Science, Oriental Studies, Archival Studies and Office Management, and History.
During this survey, the External Evaluation Team focused on studying supporting documents and related documents; interviewed and discussed with relevant groups inside and outside the school; worked directly with professional officers at functional units and units with evaluated training programs; observed teaching and learning activities; surveyed the opinions of relevant parties; visited and surveyed facilities serving training programs (library, practice rooms, classrooms, canteens, dormitories).
At the closing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Tran Van Nam - Head of the External Evaluation Team and members of the evaluation team reported the preliminary results of the official external evaluation survey of 04 undergraduate training programs of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU. The reports of the External Evaluation Team gave comments on the core issues, strengths, weaknesses and recommendations for quality improvement for each training program according to the quality evaluation standards issued by the Ministry of Education and Training, as well as recommendations for innovation of the University's activities in general.

Speaking at the Closing Ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Hong Son - Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities emphasized that the comments, indicators and recommendations of the external evaluation team are very practical for the school. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities will continue to promote its strengths and improve the quality of training programs to meet the needs of society.
