The opening ceremony was organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi in collaboration with the Thang Long Center for Educational Quality Accreditation on October 11, 2025.
Attending the Opening Ceremony, on behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Thanh Nam – Party Secretary, Chairman of the University Council, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Hong Son – Vice Rector, along with the Self-Assessment Council for the 04 training programs, leaders of functional units, leaders of faculties with accredited training programs, and focal point staff for various areas of work of the University.
The External Evaluation Team included: Prof. Dr. Tran Van Nam – former Director of Da Nang University, Head of the External Evaluation Expert Team, Dr. Phi Nguyet Thanh – Deputy Director of Thang Long Center for Educational Quality Accreditation, and other members of the External Evaluation Expert Team.
Associate Professor Bui Thanh Nam affirmed the commitment of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to spreading a culture of quality and continuously improving the quality of its training programs to meet the demands of society.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Thanh Nam warmly welcomed and thanked the Thang Long Center for Educational Quality Accreditation (CEQA) for its long-standing partnership with the university in educational quality assessment activities. He also affirmed the university's commitment to spreading a culture of quality and continuously improving the quality of its training programs to meet the demands of society.

Associate Professor Dr. Dang Hong Son, Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, presented a summary overview of the University and the four evaluated training programs, as well as the University's perspective on developing and expanding its training programs. Following the opening session, the external evaluation team continued to conduct activities including reviewing supporting documents, conducting interviews, gathering feedback from stakeholders, visiting and inspecting the school's facilities, and surveying data related to the four training programs in order to provide accurate and objective assessments of the programs. The official survey program for the four training programs took place from October 11, 2025 to October 14, 2025.
Previously, on September 26, 2025, at the Thang Long Quality Assurance Center, the External Evaluation Team also conducted a preliminary online survey program. The parties discussed and agreed on the content and program of the official survey and signed a memorandum of understanding on the preliminary survey.
