Vietnam Studies: Spreading Vietnamese Identity

Currently, preliminary statistics show that there are hundreds of research, training and teaching institutions for Vietnamese language and other fields related to Vietnam around the world. On average, there are dozens of international conferences on Vietnam studies in many countries and continents each year. A community of prestigious Vietnam scholars has been formed with professional activities and exchanges of high academic and practical nature. Vietnam studies has had steady development since the early 90s of the last century. In Vietnam, the Faculty of Vietnam Studies and Vietnamese Language, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU (VSL) is the leading prestigious and traditional training unit for Vietnam studies in the country, the only unit to build 02 Vietnam training programs for 02 separate subjects: Vietnamese and foreigners.
