Admission to Journalism Writing Skills (March 2013)

University of Social Sciences and Humanities is enrolling for a short-term training course granting certificates in Journalism Skills, opening on March 15, 2013. 1. Subject: Students who need journalism skills.2. Objectives: At the end of the course, students will grasp the basic knowledge and skills of journalism, specifically as follows: - The appearance of Vietnamese journalism and career opportunities in the field of print media; - Law and ethics of journalism; - Skills to detect problems and collect information and evaluate press information; - Interviewing skills as a professional operation of journalists, and interviewing as an independent genre of journalism; - Basic journalism genres such as news, interviews, portraits, reports, and reflections; - Organizing articles;3. Study time: 18 sessions. 3 sessions per week, Monday - Wednesday - Friday, from 6pm - 8pm4. Use of students' practice products: Appropriate and good quality practical products will be posted on the website of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and the authors will receive royalties according to the current regulations of the school.5. Opening ceremony: 15/03/2012 6. Tuition fees: 2,200,000 VND/student/course. Discounts for the following subjects: - Students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities: 1,800,000 VND/student/course. - Former students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities: 2,000,000 VND/course.
