11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
- The dissertation systematically analyzed the theoretical and practical basis of journalism in relation to wrongful convictions and the concepts: journalism, wrongful convictions, the issue of wrongful convictions, and journalism in relation to wrongful convictions. In particular, the dissertation used an interdisciplinary theoretical framework (centered around Journalism, Law, and Ethics) to analyze how messages about wrongful convictions are conveyed through observed media channels and the role and impact of journalism on this issue.
- The thesis collected information on the quantity, content, and format of information regarding wrongful convictions in the surveyed media channels; and assessed the successes and limitations of the media in addressing wrongful convictions.
Based on the research findings, the thesis proposes issues requiring further research and solutions to improve the quality of journalistic information regarding the current issue of wrongful convictions.
12. Practical applications: The research findings of this thesis can be applied to media organizations to develop operational procedures for reporting on wrongful convictions effectively and efficiently.

- The thesis has systematized and analyzed the theoretical and practical basis of journalism with the problem of wrongful conviction and concepts: journalism, wrongful conviction, wrongful conviction problem, journalism with wrongful conviction problem. In particular, the thesis uses interdisciplinary theoretical system (focusing on Journalism, Jurisprudence and Ethics) to analyze to show the expression of the message on the problem of wrongful convictions in the press channels observed and the role, impact of the press on the problem of wrongful convictions.
- The thesis collected information about the number, content and form of information about the wrongful convictions on the press channels in the survey; evaluate the success and limitations of the press on the problem of wrongful convictions.
- Based on the research results, the thesis proposes issues to continue research and solutions that contribute to improving the quality of information of the press with the current wrong conviction problem.
12. Applicability in practice: The research results of the thesis can be applied to press agencies to develop a process of operations to inform about the problem of wrongful convictions with quality and effectiveness.
